Great episode! Totally agree with Clyde's perspective on the teacher situation. Where mans went wrong was POSTING the video. In the US, we have teachers that have state given cell numbers that students can text to.

The Toronto sound isn't a beat, and tbh it didn't even start with Roney. It started with Drake harmonizing his raps, switching between singing and rapping on the same verse. That is the Toronto sound-the melodic rap style we hear today or even harmonizing your rap verses. I can argue that Drake started that, before Drake brought in that sound you were either a singer or rapper. You couldn't do both, and still be called a rapper. Drake did, and this is partly why people still don't respect his raps as much. Zoe was right bringing up Bryson because he took his whole sound from us. Rambo is a perfect example, of the melodic rapping. Yea, the beats are slightly dark but it's more about what he's doing with his voice. You can hear the influence in Lil Tecca, Lil Tjay, A Boogie, Northside Benji even Kodak at times. Forgot Tory Lanez and Travis Scott as well. Before you bring up 808s and HeartBreaks, that's kanye singing on auto-tune. Different than actually harmonizing a rap verse. To Tresor's point, there's a bunch of kids emulating this sound, it's not just those at the top. E.g. L.B Spiffy got his whole flow taken by Lil Tecca and that blew him up.

People don’t have a problem with Canadians it’s about Drake imo
