Umm i downloaded beta and dleted it now it says unable to check for update
when you remove the beta profile under device management- you're still running the beta software at this point - until the NEXT update which needs to be > than the beta you're currently running..

It now just offers to update to the new software .you don’t need to remove the profile like before
well, I did this steps, my iPhone it's on 16.1 version, I had 16.1 beta 5. now I did a restarted my iPhone and it was saying, like a beta profile "if you have restarted the iPhone because of a problem please tell us".
and at the software updates it was a 16.1 update and when I wanted to install it, it was saying that it's suspended.

I have here an IPhone 7 no Beta Profile on it anymore, but stil on beta version 12.1.1 (16C5050a Last Beta) i already removed the Unc0ver Jailbreak App an Profile, but no Update shows up, not on de device and itunes says lates software, which is wrong. Under VPN and device management, I don't have a profile of any kind, I only have, VPN n connected, so if I were to have issues with a Beta IOS software version, how am I supposed to get rid of it, either to fix the issues I might be having with it or, to update to IOS16.5 .0?

So if your doing this like today, you can switch right now on the bat in the software update to iOS 17 beta update, it’s in the software update section of your iPhone, i did try looking in the vpn section and I believe apple no longer is doing the profile. This is for those who are confused in why it’s not showing up.

me too, I guess we just deleted the beta profile first, and when 16.1.1 or 16.1.2 official release then it will be available and we will join back the official software versions. that's my guess.

I make it simple; you cant rollback to previous ios. If you have the beta installed, your device considered to have the latest software installed, because beta always ahead of the public release. So basically when you install beta, you on the latest ios and apple forbid you to rollback.
An easy way to notice this, just look at the number. You cant install ios that have a number lowered than your previous installed ios. Even if the number diferences is 0.5
can i "update" from ios 17 beta to ios 16.5? i mean, not to restore but to update... i don't want to loose all the information i have in my iphone.
