    There aren't many training aids for corporate planes like this. I needed something to show my trainees for vacuum lav systems. Your video works perfectly. Thanks!

    I saw two hoses connected to the aircraft (small and a big one). Does the smaller hose flush out the remaining debris from the bigger hose? I’m super curious about this. Let me know! Ty.

    And also, does it smell bed when you remove the giant hose after remove all the sewage?

      Hi! yes, I like to connect both at the same time so that I can dump the waste and thats what the big hose is for. and the small hose flushes water through the whole system. some aircraft require you to leave some "blue juice" in so that it can smell "nice" and some require you to leave it empty. It always smells but it depends on how much is in there and how long its been in there. if its just #1 its really nothing. If its #2 its gonna smell. One airplane that has consistently smelled really bad is a Global with a vacuum system LAV. I think because when you service it, you leave it empty and when someone uses the bathroom it uses plain water to wash the toilet out and no blue juice (blue juice has a very strong "perfume" to mask as best it can any odor) and so it just sits in some water and it smell horrible! Thanks for asking!
      In this video I was asked to dump and flush and leave it empty, I did do something wrong though, I left the inner flap open (the yellow handle that I pull down to release the waste) while I disconnected the dump hose. That should have been closed before I removed the dump hose because you never know what might come falling down even after you service it!

    If you don't mimd me asking what is the cleaning procedure for light jets with no externally serviceable lavs

    • @DavidPankarican
      @DavidPankarican  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is usually a bucket under the toilet that should have some water connection or even electrical connection. Once disconnected it can slide out and be dumped

      @@DavidPankarican if you are referring to flushing toilets do all light jets have flushing toilets? And is the use of lavatory restricted only for emergency conditions/situations?

    • @DavidPankarican
      @DavidPankarican  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mayankraj2294 yea I'm pretty sure all light jets have a Lav system. Anyone can use it unless the owner says not to! Which would be mean, but I think no one really wants to use it because it's shoo close to the cabin and others can hear our smell what's going on.
