I recently made somw of these (11 of them) for my mandalorian cosplay. I filled them with snacks, bandaids, cosplay repair items, and money. It was great. I had too many snacks, so i just handed them out to random people I found.
Great re-creation. And always enjoy your sense of humour! Well done. Those would be great for any outdoor endeavor. They could carry snacks, tinder, so many things.
Another great build, and I pick up something new in every video. This time it was punching a hole at the end of those narrow slots. So simple and so effective. Thanks again for sharing!
Great video. I do not cease to be inspired by your videos and ideas. I really like what you do. I can’t wait for a salary to buy a bag over my shoulder from the last video. I look forward to the next video and new creative impulses. Thank you so much for your work!
Need to complete this, the officer cap, and the steampunk gloves. My wife bought me a gorgeous, HEAVY, OD Green pea coat for Christmas and my WWII vintage Mosin-Nagant would combine for an awesome picture, i believe
i have several of thease pouches from about ww2. i basically have them for my mosin nagant and they are really handy and nice. one pouch holds 15 rounds of 7.62x54 with the stripper clips
I love your presentations and have downloaded several of your patterns which turn out really well. In the vein of the ammo pouches, would you give some consideration to making a 12 bore bandolier (and maybe a 20 bore bandolier). I think this would be very useful for the shooters in our community.
Oh! Also, what were the dimensions of the leather? Also, is it tooling leather? (So many options I don't know what youre using aside from 6oz 😵😅) Thanks again!
i don't recalling seeing pouches make that way watch country and year that was made in some time in WW1 they stopped making brown leather ammo pouch to the had 3 pouches too and WW2 did stop making the brown too
Is there a leatherworking kit that has all or most of the things you recommend in the description? The individual shipping costs alone is a huge chunk of change otherwise. Great video, btw! Shared it with some friends. Thanks for this resource!

Best leather working videos on TH-cam. niteKore, thank you for a Videos that are fascinating, inspiring, and not bogged down by narration.

and they look like kar-98k pouches
@@backtothe1943xNo they aren't. Kar98k pouches were triple pouch connected. This is either italian or soviet like.
@@backtothe1943x Kar98K have 3 pouch per set, while Soviet and Italian have 2 pouch per set.
@@Bustamamgendut yeah, 2 years ago i didn't know jack shit about k-98k
Fantastic stuff Tony, pattern bought and leather being ordered, going to be a nice build for sure. :D Thank you my friend..
i would suggest making modified versions that could hold different types or calibers of ammunition
Dave Chappelle!! Lol. Dude, I love your videos. I really dig the text only commentary & chill tunes throughout. Great stuff.
if one were to use this to make an ammo belt, do you suggest repeating the pattern along a longer backside(lol)?
Hi, did u apply candle wax with some cotton or another material? Thanks, enjoy your working 🙋🏻♂️
I never though to tape the pattern over the leather and to cut it through that, thanks for the great idea

Excellant vdeo 👍👌 thanks
May I ask you why you almost always use a round hole punch instead of a diamond chisel punch? Style, or there is a practical reason?
it is a matter of preference. Either will work
If anyone's wondering, these are based off of Czechoslovakian WWII era vz 24 ammunition pouches
Didn’t know that. Thank you
@@DieselpunkRo always glad to share facts
