@@malvolio01 I'm sorry but how the hell is Philly a lot more interesting? Most of Philly is just streets and streets of boring, cookie cutter rowhouses. If you compare any of Boston's neighborhoods (even the ones with nothing but triple deckers have variation to them) to Philly, Philly pales in comparison.
Great video. I think that Boston and DC are the two most beautiful American cities, but Boston, to me, takes the crown. It looks like a European gem, and it's history is amazing.
@@LionelLando Chicago has a beautiful downtown but it’s opposite from what he was saying. Chicago looks very modern and it’s skyscrapers are anything but European and historical. Plus, it’s crime city USA. horrible leadership and heavy presence of BLM leaders. No thank you. I think Miami looks better than Chicago now tho. Miami had come up a long way over the past 20 years and with its beaches and the Atlantic Ocean in the backdrop, as well as the many new skyscrapers and currently under construction high rises = Miami is becoming the best skyscraper city after NYC. Google Miami skyline at night. Absolutely beautiful. Seattle and San Francisco also look nice but Miami just has sprawling skyscrapers and high rises lining the ocean. Chicago is still beautiful FROM THE INTERNET… but it’s anything but within the streets of Chicago. Yuck
It was very interesting to see the architectural contrasts between different areas. The ugly brutalist architectural style of some of the car parks, office and residential buildings contrasted with the softer, older and more elegant styles of other areas showed how the city has evolved over time. I love the older, traditional areas of Boston, but the brutalist parts I could do without.
The best and most gorgeous city I've ever been to in the U.S. Also, I've never met so many locals that were as proud of their city as Bostonians. Such a relic in this great country

At 35:33, we see the Paul W. Marks egg delivery truck pass by that we saw at the start of the video... Funny! I wonder if that was the same vehicle. Boston, particularly downtown section, is a nightmare to drive. It is a mish-mash of one-way narrow streets that none of which are parallel. The routes made a long time ago were made by-horse-drawn paths between (now) landmarks and points of interest. At least today, we have GPS which makes things easier. Even pedestrians have difficulty finding their way around because there are very few signs. The T (subway) gets you to the section or square you need to be, but directions like left or right are still very confusing based on which direction you are facing.

It's very distinct to see a U.S American big city that doesn't look generic and the same as all other U.S big cities, i mean no disrespect but i think New York City might've been a bad influence in first world and even a couple third world countries, making all big cities look the same, which is why Boston should be celebrated, it's very rare to see a big, powerful, important and historic city in U.S that gets to keep this much of its Germanic Architecture [British mainly].
