Mitch left with a winning record and was 12 & 4 in his year two division winning season. Never going to happen with fields.
We went to the playoffs with Mitch and our team responded to him. We won ugly but we won, Mitch got thrown under the bus by Nagy and many fans. Personally I thought he was doing what it took for us to win, it was ugly but I will take that over losing any day of the week.

Time to Fire Getsy, you cant do 2 screens on the goaline in a MUST win game, I was there dieing of sun stroke, and Fields wasnt good, but the 3 plays we let him rip it we had a TD, Id rather lose out with Fields slinging the rock then see this dinky doinky shit.... fed up

No OL, No pass rush... same thing every week
It's a joke right now.... it's like nobody on the coaching staff knows how to prepare a guy to play in the trenches on either side of the ball.... there's zero synchronicity in the pass rush where timing and assignments create advantages for the defensive lineman....there are numerous ways to beat an o-lines blocking scheme...you can't just line up and go and hope you get there....on the offensive side it's lack of coaching and game planning that negate the weaknesses your players have....you gotta get that ball out and know what routes work against certain fronts and where the holes are that are where you and your receiver know to get to....qb waggles....Sprint outs and moving pockets that make defenders chase and use more energy per snap....creating physical advantages.... it's crazy....just crazy....

Fire Getsy and Eberflus, hire The WaterBoy for defense to show them how to tackle, Momma because momma knows, and the Fonz to coach and run the offense. 😂
Fields is totally in over his head....he doesn't have that instinctive trait to analyse what he sees and make the adjustments that beat coverages and pass rushes....even with a weak line he should be going up tempo and recognising the hot route or the one on one and getting the ball out at the moment and to the area that is most advantageous to the receiver....he does none of that....he doesn't create advantages for his lineman with quick decision making instead of letting them get strung out and eventually beat while he just drops back and holds the damn ball....you gotta move the pocket and have routes that breakdown coverages leading to an open man....linemen will be on the move making them obstacles that you can't just run through when they are planted or use pass rush moves on them because their moving in a direction and manner where your chasing instead of engaging...the linemen's job is easier because they just gotta be in the way....Fields should be operating in double time putting huge stress on the defense...you can sub in players to keep that quick pace until you have a defense reeling and ineffective....the traditional drop back is the time you're looking at your progression and seeing the coverage unfold simultaneously....by the time you finish your drop you should already know where you're going with the ball...Fields does nothing close to this....he ain't the answer for QB in Chicago....

4:54 bench Lucas Patrick. Getsy screen within the 10. Roschon Johnson should be the lead back, on the field way way more. This coaching staff, the QB, it's all very very bad.

Traded the best middle linebacker in NFL. Hired Eberflus, drafted Velus Jones top 75. Traded a first round pick for chase claypool. Might be The worst GM in Nfl history so far
Hard to blame GM. Ownership forces QB that can’t play QB. Smith didn’t fit new scheme. Jones didn’t develop as predicted. It’s coaching and fields unable to learn.
Feel really bad for you especially because you promoted everything Bears since before leading up to the draft. You had us all believing. Been Patient enough with Fields. After the loss next week, do we at least put Bagent in to see if the season can be salvaged? I think if you're Poles sit all players that you don't want injured, such as Moore, R. Johnson, Scott etc.
I want Justin to succeed but if things don’t work out and we end up blowing it up I’d gladly take shedeur sanders. Hell even if Deion wants to come coach for Chicago I wouldn’t be against it lol

The defense played their ass off the considering the weather and the situation. The offense didn’t do squat! Simply put!

We’re losing in the trenches
If the Bears don't end up with Caleb Williams and Marvin Harrison Jr, or Jared Verse in the 2024 draft, the Bears trading the #1 pick away might end up being a compkete mistake. I hope Darnell Wright improves during his rookie year, but the Bears could of had Will Anderson or Jalen Carter and passed on both, then went bargain shopping on the DLine.
But we have great athletes with tremendous length.

Ok. Brisker.. love the guy.. he could be awesome. But don't publicly call people out for low intensity and then come out and drop a pick six!.. this isnt like 15 years ago where the bears had the best defense in the league and constantly had to bail the offense out. The defense is worse than the offense! And I don't blame fields for either INT. sounds stupid but Getsy calls a screen pass backed up inside your own 10. You need to go score to tie or win and because a screen is designed to let pressure in it was either take the safety in the situation or try to get the ball to Herbert. Barret made a one handed grab on that. Great play by him.. Getsy needs to get his head out of his ass. And that's not me saying fields isn't a problem. Just not the problem at the end of the game.
Trade Jackson and Whitehair. Should get 4-5ths for them. Trade Mooney and Claypool for 6ths. Off-season trade fields and something to move up in draft or more picks.
