There is actually another smaller clarinet than the Eb, two actually! The Ab piccolo clarinet and the Bb piccolo clarinet playing 12 half steps higher for the Ab and a whole octave for the Bb piccolo!

My dad was a studio musician and he played the entire clarinet family from the tiny Ab piccolo clarinet to the giant BBb Contrabass Clarinet.
