Northwest Chinese Guzheng Orchestra performs a timeless classic, the Butterfly Lovers, at Factoria Mall for the 2010 Lunar New Year Celebration. NW Chinese Guzheng Orchestra was founded to cultivate Chinese culture, music and art in the Pacific Northwest. It is the first group of its kind in the US. The orchestra was founded by Buyun Zhao, a noted performer of the guzheng, yangqin and pipa, who has been teaching these instruments in Seattle for over 20 years. I believe that this was a very good performance however the back ground noise had ruined the whole thing. The surrounding environment is the key of high quality music playing.
