It is worth checking the wrecks in the second Boolean fields for nanocarbon alloy (and possibly a qt RTG), so you can make a personal oxygenator. Or search the zeta peaks area for titanium and make it yourself.
@@kmcd6140 well they almost get you there, cause in getting to the second cave layer, you'll notice that there's no spire sticking out in sight, so making a ramp manually is the only way down, yet once get the core, you can connect to the core's spires there.
@@Charles-7 Yeah, I shouldn't have said it like that. The grav spikes make for good guides whether you go straight down or spiral around the spikes, but the planet is described as multiple planets built on top of one another for a reason. I'd probably stick lights on the posts to remind of where the gravity shifts.
Just finished my playthrough about an hour ago, and not to spoil anything but I gotta say the ending is quite lackluster, dare I say disappointing. I think they really put too big a development focus on the planet itself rather than the story/gameplay. I am glad they priced the DLC reasonably tho so it's not all bad.
My first foray into the cave ended in disaster when tunneling down I ran blindly into one of those gateway spires just before the first opening and the gravity switch effed me over and I ended up losing two medium rovers to it. They got stuck, I got only 1 free and lost 2 but for some reason it wouldn't even let me package the others up (at least got most of the stuff off them). The 2nd time they effed me up was heading for delta storm and I had found a whole lot of stuff in the wrecks including 3 qt-rtgs and I ran over some research that flipped me over but I must have again been close enough to the spire underground that for some reason it disconnected my train and I lost 3 trailers full of stuff and one of those qt-rtgs into the ground. 😢 Hopefully it is somewhere in the cave down below but considering it is a long way between my base and the delta storm it could be anywhere down there. I was pretty annoyed after that to make me stop for a while. 🤦
Oh man, my solution was to build a moving train base. Was taking to long to go back and forth. For the storm i just made a mini rail that terminated in one of those nexi and put the ruby at the end with the portable d-ciper. Once it finished slurping up all those good storm juices just recalled and finished the rest of the mission. For power i did the classic tappers, generator mix. Wasnt really interested in balancing out power from solar/wind this time. Just wanted to brute force it. Didnt build a single battery this time. I feel like that should be an achievement.
I suggested a wind turbine before but I should have been more specific. A Medium Wind Turbine makes 5U/s, and is a Ceramic + Aluminum. Though it looks like the storm doesn't always produce wind, I mean logically it should, it's a storm. The best alternative is to use that Medium Generator, outputs 9U/s for 120s for a single carbon. Not sure how long it will take to get stuff from the storms but between the mini smelter and medium generator, RUBY can work at 100% while the generator is on.
No need for Rail Stations. Solar DOES work in the storm. Like setting bases on the planets, 2 Solar + 2 Wind will get the job done for anything on the surface. And, yes, 1 Medium = 2 Small for most purposes. Train tip of the day -- Rail lines connect power and O2. You can easily connect the RUBY platform to a Rail Post and have your base power it. Then use the train to gather the Data.
You can make a portable d-cipher with the small printer
If he can get alpha Storm data

and a train plus purple spires, are perfect for getting straight down to the core, well almost down.
OneLastMidnight mentioned that there was a potential gravity change that may make using the spires a PIA.
Some of the gravity arms reach all the way to the surface. Look for purple pyramids. Easy, straight shot to the Core.

@@kmcd6140 good point there
The luck, or maybe it’s skill, it takes to drive off and land in a random hole to the next layer. It’s very Z1 shenanigans! Good times.
Finally! The continuation of the DLC!
Lets goo! I have been having so much fun so far
Welcome for the idea 👍👍👍🚂
Lol I don't think he turned on the RUBY

he scrolled right over the portable D-cipher lol
i am ADDICTED to these glitchwalker videos!!! can’t wait for the next ❤

you can find a exo chip and break it open with exploding balloon plants and use the chips to make a hoverboard its much easier
Been watching since the Colony Survival days! Gotta say, your videos never disappoint!
legit. everytime you say delta storm i cant help but get skies of arcadia flashbacks
portable D-Cypher?
Fr he forgot about the portable D-cypher
you could put Ruby and a cipher on the same platform with a wind turbine and put it in the storm you don't need a storage

So how long before Z notices that there is a clay node right next to his superhighway?
Train... Train... Train... Train...
You have the back pack smelter, it has an organic on it, If you need clay, read the comments in your last video.
You have clay right beside your super highway!
Love this guy
Wonder how long before he realizes he needs to unlock the soil centrifuge.
The terrain is crazy
Did you summon your Marty McFly voice for that intro? Maybe a bit of Gene from Bob's Burgers.
Can't what to see the Train.
make a centrifuge you can make most things with soil
Finally!!! 🐐
What if you try making an underground highway with the crystals. It might take a bunch of dirt, but it would be much faster
Solid centrifuge can make clay and other things so you don’t need to go far from you base just saying
I got Glitchwalkers a few days ago
i'm enjoying Empire of Ants and Astroneer these days
Use the portable d-cipher!
Use the portable d-cipher
Don't do tik tok so no suit for me I guess. Liked the video, loving this play-through.
is it just my imagination or did he destroy the storm thingi from wich the data is collected when he put the platform directly on it??? at31:32
They move
Could u fix the Playlist kind sir
Commet yes if you’ve been yelling at the screen for the whole glitchwalkers series
Is the glitch still in the game?
within 1 day
