Gotta love The Old Town! What I didn’t love are the bar barkers hustling tourists to eat and drink. I do know what a restaurant and a bar does and I’m literate enough to read a posted menu. It would be interesting to know how effective this is to snag a customer. That out of my system, it’s not hard to find very good restaurants in Old Town; the food is good, prices are fair and, once inside, the service is usually excellent.
Just up the road from you in Lagos Geoff. It's a fantastic place to live

Albufeira old town is 100 times better than the new town, loads more quality restaurants and bars.

Good Afternoon Geoff. What a very Beautiful and Scenic adventure of the Portugese Algarve, this Gorgeous place they Albufeira. It does remind me of Malta, with those absolutely Gorgeous painted blue and white fronted old town houses, the Historical and very Beautiful streets and alley's. I can tell from the Quality and picture of your Movie, you are using your Incredible and Top of the Range Camera. The sound quality is Superb. Your Narration whilst you go for a Mooch is so to the point. You have Great Observational Skill and Hawk Eye vision. WoW!! A very Lovely Pub and Restaurant. Very Friendly and Beautiful Food and Beverage Server. And a real geneuine Customer Service with a Smile smile from the Lovely Lady. You absolutely deserved that cool glass of the Local beer i presume. Very price for the Euro at the moment. 3 Euro's for a pint is Incredible in Albufeira. Hope you Recovered and Did Not injure Yourself. Once again another Fabulous movie from the Kind Gentleman and Special person known as Geoff Carter. Enjoy the rest of your Holiday in Albufeira. As you did this 4 days ago, you may know by now, but most of the activity on 'The Strip' is at the North end at this time of year. That said it is really for the 18-30 crowd. The Old Town is better for those a little north of 30!
I have not been to potugal for at least 40 years decided i prefer Greece. but the old town looks nice . i am sure you will have a great time Geoff.

That Pampas steakhouse in nice - been there a few times! Lucky escape from Rambo - instead you got a couple of nice cold beers at Miss Wobbles😢😢 We were in Faro for six nights from 28 October.

You need to change the frame rate to 25 or 50 though, you’ll get less flicker off the lights. 30 and 60 are for American refresh rates. But the colours and quality of the footage is fantastic
