Please enjoy this memorial video of what Los Angeles's Richest Neighborhoods looked like before the Great Fire of 2025. I took this footage 5 days before the great fire destroyed almost every house in Pacific Palisades and Parts of Malibu shore seen in this video. Let me know what you think.
Thank you for this video. I visited LA a few years ago and was at many of the locations in person. I would also watch video of the PCH and take a relaxing virtual drive along the Pacific Coast Highway from Santa Monica to northern Malibu planning a trip later this year to visit places I didn't get to see such as Carbon Beach and Palisades Village, both of which were destroyed in the fires. The fires were devastating to see live on TV and heartbreaking that the beautiful community of the Palisades, historic Altadena (an area with landmarked Victorian homes over 100 years old) and an iconic 6 mile stretch of the PCH in Southern Malibu are now gone forever.
Its so sad to see so much beautiful buildings, culture, history and memories go up in flames. I dont know how it will look after the rebuild, but im very sad that NO ONE can experience a walk or a drive thru those neighborhood EVER AGAIN with the stuff seen on this video. makes me really heartbroken tbh.
It's so important to have these videos. Thanks for having the forethought . Such an awful shame that MISMANAGEMENT was allowed to let this get so out of hand. CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT is the only way to get justice and to prevent future occurrences of this type on incident.
Thanks for watching, being a subscriber and sharing your thoughts Bennett. I hope you also watch my other Pacific Palisades video where I show what it was like those first few critical hours of the fire driving around with no fire fighters in the area I was driving that was starting to burn.
THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORYS ,,FRANKS SONG... YOUR VIDEO SHOWS US WHAT WE HAD SO GREAT!! BUT ONLY IF WE COULD SEE THE FUTURE TO REACT SOONER MOST HOMES WOULD BE HERE ,, THIS IS A BLESSING TO SEE AND HURTFULNESS THAT HAS BEEN TAKEN AWAY,.. MY LIVING IN THE PALISADES WAS SO MUCH FUN SINCE THE 80-90S GOING TO THE BEACH AND REST. WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS, MY AUNTS OLD HOME ON KINGSPORT DR. IS NOW GONE AND GLADSTONES REST. GELSONS MARKET ,,((( INTERESTING HOW DID YOU KNOW TO TAKE THIS LONG VIDEO BEFORE THE FIRE)))).... ,SAD G d BLESS ALL..
I dont know why but since I was a kid Ive always felt a very strong emotional attachment to the USA, especially the west coast. I visited USA in August last year for the first time and at age 41 I was in awe seeing all those beautiful landscapes and a few cities. I did have a chance to see LA from the hill where the Griffiph observatory is located and thanks to a huge traffic on the highway due to an accident my GPS told me to drive through the city and enter the highway much further than I planned (which I didnt want to do because LA was just a short stop in my itinerary). So I was able to see the city from the inside so to speak. I didnt drive through the neighborhoods in the videos but I'm glad I visited and saw the pre-fire LA. I dont know how many years it will take to rebuild those areas and whether it will all be equally beautiful , I hope so, but I feel really sad that it is all gone now. If I had a job and skills that would be useful there, I would come over and help but Im just a normal guy with a mundane 9-5 job. I wish you all the best in these tough times; tragedies make people discover their best in them and so will be the case here, Im sure about that.
Honestly, I think I know what you feel. I as well feel very attracted to the US culture, traditions, etc. But, and this is a huge but. I've been to LA and US numerous times and I just can't shake the feeling of a nation of fake people. Every time I'm there I'm being reminded of the non-genuineness of people. I'd like to have a best friend from the US and see the comparison. I don't know where you're from, but I hope you're doing well. Best.
Appreciate this documentation, the fires destroyed some of my favourite areas of SoCal, so sad. Just thankful I live down near SD though our fire risk is also there too.
An oasis of peace and tranquility, gone, just like that. The fifth largest economy in the world, located in an area prone to wildfires, does not have a prevention and mitigation strategy to combat them. I find it very hard to believe. I guess only time will tell, qui vivra verra.
There is no way I can even afford a place in this area, but my heart aches when I see the loss these people have suffered. This did not have to happen. Greed and neglect of the needs of the taxpayers by our politicians made these fires worse than they should have been.
Ya its a nice looking house. I wish they didn't paint the chimney blue tho to give it some contrast. Unfortunately that house is gone now. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts Mark!
*I appreciated the tour very much. I've taken the same leisure cruise over the last 55 years since I moved from the OC. Born in Long Beach, raised in the OC, enjoyed a successful career in LaLaLand, and am now retired. Heartbreaking is an understatement. Lake Shrine survived... says a lot about keeping our spirituality in check! ~ And lastly, the Democrat leadership of our fine State has flipped our State Red because of the ineptness of our elected overseers.*
If there is a god, and he/she has power and control over everything like most religious people believe, do you not think that it was indeed god that made the fires in the first?. People with faith always say that everything happens for a reason. Just a thought for you.
Secret Service blockade usually means either President Biden, Vice President Harris or immediate family members were hosting/attending a New Years party in Brentwood with rich/celebrity friends.
Either Biden, Harris, Trump, JD Vance went to a New Years party hosted by one of their rich/celebrity friends not on their official schedule. I doubt it was Trump though because even things not on his official schedule were covered by media. Given it was California, its more likely Biden, Hunter, Or Harris.
All but ashes remain, in the end what lies but pain. What was done? What has gained? Is this humane? " oh what shame,For who's to blame, for this smoke and flame? There you sit like the hypocrite, on a throne of gold, while the wolf burns my sheep fold!! Where is your life of glory? What now your life story? All but ashes remain because we mocked God's name. Spare thy self this pain and honor God's name.Speak no more of things unknown, but remember who sits upon the Throne. Now you're homeless without a home so point your fingers, aim your stingers before this fire which lingers. All but ashes that remain, all are animals and few humane, just smoke, fire, and flame....😊
They followed Moses into the desert to die. He knew it would happen, but he didn't know he would still be alive to see it. Those who saw the flaws and dangers in the architecture of the Palisades did not get support, and were physically and organizationally attacked, and became homeless and live on the streets of LA. They sympathize with the victims of the burning of their homes, who watch who will survive this luxury. He waited for the wind.
