- After some intrepid dodders in the Gen V LT1 community figured out how to install this LT2 intake onto their Camaro, Truck, or swap, we can barely keep this intake manifold on our shelves!
Nick goes over the advances made on the LT2 intake over the LT1 intake, and how this budget friendly option is responding to mods.

It would be nice if GM would support some upgrades like this intake, their own hotcam etc. instead of just the CAI without VOIDING the warranty.... Ford has quite a few factory upgrades across a few models and probs one of the reasons they outsell the Camaro...
I'd love to see back to back tests with the MSD to see how it compares. This may be a bigger bang for the buck.
Agreed, we'd love to do a proper back to back test on the dyno with this and an MSD.
I saw another video that compared it to the MSD, the MSD provided like +1HP over the LT2 and moved the peak of the power band higher up about 200 RPM. Meanwhile the LT2 did a better job with low RPM HP and Torque numbers. Overall not worth the premium anymore. These LT2's are a no brainer - Also, porting them out added very little. They are great stock. No real flaws at all.

These new LT2 intake manifolds are the new NO BRAINER mod for 6th Gen Camaros. They are everything the pricey MSD intakes are, but for a couple hundred bucks instead of a thousand. They need to be modified slightly and you need a wiring harness and a hose extension so they aren't exactly bolt-on. But along with an intake and a ported throttle body they are the easiest way to add a little power.
no mention of the fitting that needs to be installed in the back for the brake booster.....

does that throttle body bolts on directly with the use of an adapter?
Are the intake runners short or long runners🤔
Does the lt2 intake need porting in order to fit 95mm tb? Or will the plate make it fit without porting snout?
Seems best practice is to have the inlet port matched to the adapter.
Can you use adaptor plates
Hey nick, these will not fit with the lt4 pump without runner spacers.

Has anyone done any data logging? Does it need a tune on a stock lt1. How are the AFR. Does it lean the car out?

We have seen some trucks running this intake. It does require some modification.
We would like to do some back to back dyno runs soon just like on our 5.3L cam video just to help verify numbers for posterity's sake.

You'll need to make the modifications to it as mentioned. You might not see as much out of the swap unless you've got other supporting mods like a cam and longtubes.
Am installing one on my 2014 silverado with a Texas speed stage one cam botla exhaust not gonna do headers yet but will go with the zr1 95mm hope to get some good gains only mod for this intake is grind down the ridges on the bottom.back of the intake to clear high-pressure Manuel fule pump no need to drill and tap for brake booster cuz these trucks come with vacuum pump for brake booster 👍
