    It's really interesting to hear so openly the words mid life and the overwhelming feels this raises for us all. Thanks for sharing

    It’s definitely seems to be a journey with ups and downs but was encouraged by your latest feelings and think that talking it over with others, especially other women also going through this, is vital.

      Thanks Jo, I continue to feel I am moving in the right direction and absolutely talking about it with other women is so important. I would like to capture women's experiences for a video, particularly women who have been through this time and can offer a perspective for those in the middle of it. I must put a call out video together with some questions soon :)

    I'm sure you're right to consider the wider picture, and the place you've got to in your life, as well as the HRT. It's a complex issue isn't it, but I hope you find your way through it in time. Good luck with it! :-)

      Thank you Sue and yes considering this time in life more widely is helping. I am off to an afternoon of yoga and meditation to help with this :)

    It can take up to 6 months for HRT to settle in. But it's still a struggle. What supplements are you taking ?

      Hi Laney, I am not taking any supplements. I used to take Agnus Castus, but stopped when I started HRT. Can you recommend anything that would help alongside the HRT.

    Hello Juliet, I really liked the end of the this video about re-evaluating, which is not just age-related by a life's work I find.

    I take femoston 2/10 and I love it. My nerves calm down and I don't have stiff and aching fingers. My anxiety is so much bettter !!!!!
    I had very bad anxiety between age 28 and 33 with a perfect cycle. So it' s not always only hormones! !!!!

    Hello I was wondering if u have noticed any weight gain on HRT?

    • @julietocallaghan
      @julietocallaghan  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Lynn, no I didn't, but as we know weight gain is something that happens around this time in life and it is harder to lose it. I actually weighed a stone heavier before starting HRT, but that as in part due to the fact I was feeling low and that made me inactive.

      Hi Mina, it's pretty awful for some of us and I hope you are having a better day. It is still a work in progress for me, but HRT is helping and I am feeling more positive and more importantly that have some control and options. Menopause matters is a great website with an active forum that I have found invaluable and would recommend :
