As far as I can tell, they still have not fixed the “plague ridden” bug. When you kill a player as a nurgle, you get the Rotter for the rest of the game but you can’t keep the player after the game. It’s a bummer as that is one of the better aspects of the nurgle team. I also hope they fixed the interception glitch. I haven’t had an interception attempt yet but I have had to concede in two games when the other player tried to throw and I had a player in the vicinity to intercept. The game just stalls at that point.
What was changed with RND skills? Think they still need to do some buffs if someone concedes to you. Atleast give the winner an extra MVP and double winnings.
Im guessing the gameplay controls and camera options haven't been updated. I'll wait till the next patch before deciding whether to reinstall thx for the update anyway
Once this is fully-functioning and includes all the teams, does not require micro-transactions and is all in one bundle - I'll be jumping straight in on this game and snapping it up. I can't pay full retail when I have to wait so long so they'll have to wait for my money. I'll pay full price minus $5 per month I've waited. They could have had full retail money today if they wanted. I'm very, very patient. I can wait as long as it takes. If they run out of time and my price becomes zero, I'll have to see if I can somehow get it for free. It's great being the one who is in power here. These are MY micro-transactions from now on.
I think you should just stick to fumbbl, none of the Cyanide's Blood Bowl games have ever included a full roster of teams, and all of them have had some type of microtransaction to unlock new teams if you have the base game. Based on the unlock schedule according to the early roadmap, BB3 will be 1 team behind BB2 around 24 month past launch. Past that it will have (in theory) more teams. However it is unlikely that it will ever reach feature parity with the boardgame itself.

Cyanide and Game Workshop just want to nickel and dime their customers with microtransactions.

BB3 has gone the way of The Sims franchise: it would cost hundreds to thousands of dollars to buy all of the microtransaction cosmetics, no matter how many hours you put in the game to earn free warpstone. What Cyanide needs is competition (fumbbl doesn't really count). I was hoping there would be more Blood Bowl content from the Tabletop Simulator Community ... but alas, there hasn't. Then again, Games Workshop is very litigious and already took down Mods from that game of that 1 guy that was creating 3D Virtual Warhammer Fantasy Armies.
You said they changed the randomized skills, but you didn't really elaborate on how they changed. Even the patch notes only say they fixed a UI issue. How exactly did they change?
Was thinking of buying this game recently, but in saying that I'm not a huge fan of playing PvP and would rather play against an AI, not really competitive to be honest. Wondering if the AI has been "fixed" so to speak?
As far as I know the AI in Blood Bowl games have never been very good. You're also currently missing an endless league option for AI, so you might not be able to as easily build a massively OP team
Have they changed the RNG from BB2 to BB3? I stopped playing BB2 because when playing against the computer, it just started rolling unbeatable dice and a LOT of them. I wont buy BB3 if it does the same.

Injuries seem messed up, not displaying what injury might need appo, and then not displaying in dugout. Have to check player, or log.

They changed the TV value of the random skill to be the same as a non-random skill.
You should already get all the winnings from a concede game

The TV value of the random skill is the same as a non-random skill.
So you only get a discount on the SPP cost.
That's a lame change imo. Not worth taking the risk now as you're paying full skill value even if it was a rubbish skill.@@cKnoor

The AI is unlikely to ever recieve any additional improvements. It won't drive any more sales and is very hard/time consuming

The RNG for you and the AI are using the same algorithm. So no, the computer does not cheat. It didn't in BB2 and it doesn't in BB3
