Great video !!!! I found highly highly motivational, new trailer owner here and a few months out from mustering up the courage to take the horses on our first camping trip If have any recommendations that a beginner friendly around MD, VA and/PA area please let us know ! Thanks and well done ! Last question. When the horses got out of the temporary electric fencing, did they go far ? That’s my biggest fear and what’s the best way to prevent this ? Hahah “vacations are fun, adventures are hard-work” great quote by Colin !
This is so exciting, congrats!! Pennsylvania has a lot of nice campgrounds; I recommend starting with a private campground like Gettysburg or Elk Haven. Va has some great state campgrounds like James River State Park. If you are nervous about the electric tape, I recommend looking into portable corral panels. I got some and they add a bit more security and are also electric. I got some from affordable portable products. Get some breakaway halters to leave on your horses any time they are in the fence; if for some reason they do get out, it will be much easier to catch them. Best wishes!!
@@CarmellaAbelthanks so much for advice ! PA here we come !!!!! Googling the portable corral panels now! Stay safe and looking forward to your next video 🥳
Hi, I'm new to this channel. I would like to make a suggestion after seeing the ponied horse get away from you and run off...get a name tag made with your phone info for his halter ( and maybe saddle) like you probably have for your dog. I also would love to travel and ride trails. My 1st horse was an Appaloosa also. Be safe out there, happy trails to all!
I love what you're doing and wish I was doing it! I think with the high line it's supposed to be tied stationary on the horizontal rope. Not traveling along it like a dog tie line.
Hopefully no more white knuckle driving!! You guys are doing so awesome with the obstacles that have come along!!! ❤ may god keep you all safe in your Adventures!!! 💕 🙏
Camilla!!! Im finally ready buying my first horse- I thank you for your time sharing with us 101’s dos and don’t etc. amongst you and 2 other TH-camrs, my trainer, and equestrian friends I’ve advanced pretty far and I’m excited I’m finally at the point of shopping and purchasing my own pal :) Thank you always girl! Collin as well:)
hi, I know you have a horse trailer loading video and I do have it and I watched it. Is there anyway you can just go over exactly how you trained Ruoch to get in the trailer thank you.
Ruach is a special horse 😂. Tucker has received the same training but is not so willing to run and jump onto the trailer 😂. My trailer has a manger in it, and any time we load them, I have their food in there so they positively associate it. Ruach is VERY food motivated!
What an INCREDIBLE adventure!!! The trailer renovation looks beautiful, love how you took the paper map and I LOVED that shot where your horse is kissing you when you are talking about riding into a town! So excited to follow your journey! Also really appreciate your videos about boarding stables, as I’m learning as much as I can so I can get my first horse!!!
You prepared your horses really good. This helped you much with ponying and traveling. And of course not all will go well, so ruac was exploring on his own, but no harm😊
You should both be e proud of yourselves it takes guts to do what you have done x i love watching your videos and thank you for sharing them with us x x

I love your videos, they are very informative. If possible, someday I would love to get a horse, and as a newbie I am thinking of getting a Missouri Fox Trotter. By the way, I am curious how you are making a living traveling around like you are?
Did you need a special class license to drive a trailer of that length? Here in 🇨🇦 we do , you guys are stepping out in faith i love it and enjoy seeing your days in this journey your on 😊

It is strange to me. You speak about being rebels at war with consumerism. But a huge 3 stall horse trailer with a small RV for humans inside... a huge pick up truck that burns a lot of gas... campground fees... all the costs associated with horse ownership. I like your videos, and think highly of you both, but you are kidding yourselves. You are not living a basic lifestyle. You are living a dream few if any can afford.. and it is fun for a while. But eventually you'll want kids, a house... so this fun time is gonna end.
Of course it’s going to end. They didn’t say they wanted to do it forever. But at this point in their life they wanted to take a grand adventure and there’s nothing wrong with that
I know nothing about horses but I really enjoy your videos. Your personalities, attitude, humor, courage, and faith all inspire me.
Thank you, I appreciate that!

you should make a list of best and worst and put it available for download on your website for others who travel with their equine buddies

I love what Colin told you about vacations vs. adventures. What a wise, supportive hubby. I enjoy watching the four of you on your adventure.
He is very wise! Thanks for your support!
@@CarmellaAbel I forgot to acknowledge your dog - so sorry! The 5 of you are having an adventure, not 4. 🐶

Your videos are amazing, & your horses are so pretty ❤ They look so well trained!
I love how even just one step closer your horses take to your big dream, they get rewarded, even if it doesnt mean much, the horses are charished❤
Thank you!
Really enjoy watching your videos and listening to your adventures. Can't wait until you get to Colorado! May see you on the trails.
Thank you! And one of my goals is to ride at least a portion of the Colorado Trail!

Missouri Fox Trotters are awesome! We do online marketing and manage websites and TH-cam channels!
Heyyy I enjoy your videos. I was wondering where did you buy Tucker? Thank you ❤
Outstanding!
Thanks, Dad! Miss you!
You are living my dream! Will you share where you stayed? I am not far from West Virginia.
We stayed at EJ’s Cottages and East Fork Campground; both were great!
Are you guys heading south for the winter months?
Yes!

They’ve mentioned in other videos that they know this isn’t forever, they want to have a family one day. This is their journey for now.
