It's criminal that she isn't on the same wavelength of recognition as, I dunno, someone like Hayley Williams. They're both some of my most revered influences in a lot of different aspects. So genuine, talented, charismatic, likable, and the list goes on!! Ugh
I think lights is perfectly aware of this, as a fan since MySpace days, I wondered too. Life is different for everyone, she started off as a girl singing about Jesus and crushes and love. That might have limited her since her audience came from that and she didn't want to disappoint then she made siberia, which is heavily loaded with biblical wisdom, but a brilliant album.. . She gave it another go with little machines, not much about religion but still an innocent album that was badass at the same time. She's branching out with skin and earth and this album... Her character growth is perpetually influencing. It is important to not care what anyone thinks and keep being yourself, in her case it's making music. I don't think she's sold either or renounced her beliefs.. I wish her all the success and more

I've adored Lights and her music since I was in high school - finishing up Uni now - and I cried while meeting her at FanExpo in Vancouver years ago. Damn, it'd be a dream come true to be in one of her music videos. Her music over the years has been amazing, she'll never stop rocking and being awesome.
