The twelve signs of the zodiac are located in our brain as the twelve cranial nerves. Spirit=innermost=that I am=being aware of being aware=core self Soul=midmost=heart, mind and activated will integrated=essential self Body/world=outermost=reflective mirror reflecting our current state of being=personality, social self, ego. Ego is our sense of identity. Identity is whatever we identify with as I, as in I am this or this way. When we identify with the temporal, we lose our sense of our eternal portion. The free life energy of conscious attention that enlivens whatever occupies it can be directed to dwell on all things lovely and of good report, for where attention dwells, so dwells the Soul. What we sacrifice is the lower fulfillment of gratification of the senses when we enter meditation to trade up for the higher fulfillment of attaining an immortal body or Soul. What we crucify are the conditioning limits of the ego. What we tithe is the 10% of the brain we have to receive the 90% of our brain the cosmos has and would love to bestow on us. The will of the Soul touches the will of the body at the alpha/theta dreamtime interface between the 2nd and 3rd chakra. Which one predominates determines which is the ride and which is the rider, as well as where we dwell. Pride is a shield employed by the ego to protect its inherent feeling of inadequacy and insecurity. Instinctive envy emulates what is admirable, as a child emulates a beloved parent seeing some portion of their future in the parent's present, whereas mechanical reactive envy is inherently adversarial and self-serving seeking to surpass and supplant instead of emulate. The distinction between instinctive and mechanical reactivity is crucial to avoid confusing them. We need our instincts to survive. We do not need mechanical negative reactive patterns. An instinctive reaction only lasts as long as the stimulus while a mechanical reaction continues on long after the stimulus is gone. Every mechanical reaction has an instinctive correlate the ego has co-opted. Thus there is instinctive pride that refuses to stoop to the shameful and mechanical pride that seeks merit by comparison to others to hide its shame behind. Technically, personality is the sum total of our adaptations to the demands and expectations of our social environment. Ego is our sense of identity which is whatever part of our experience we are currently identified with as I. Identified with anything temporal, we lose our sense of our eternal portion, our divine inheritance. I find writing tedious yet I seem to spend a lot of time doing it anyway. I do it because the spirit wants me to and my will is to bestow what I have received and it comes easily so I continue to learn and grow. But it is still tedious! 'nuff said! Presence is our being. Awareness or Soul is our way of being. Embodiment is our Soul's way of being in the world. Our way of being can become effortless and feel inherently good as we learn to remember our that I am, just being aware of being aware. This conscious nothingness is at the heart of the eternal infinity of potential and possibilities including the four gifts of the Spirit: inspiration for the heart, insight for the mind, well-being for the body and empowerment for the will. Being aware of being aware that I am, is the way of awareness or Soul, the truth of Inherent Wholeness and the Life Abundant. We are a self-aware presence, a movement and a rest, the optimum between the extremes of too much and too little. We are the "just so" of the Absolute.

The biggest question I'm left with after watching this video is: do good for selfish and greedy people or let them go?
Unconditional love is not unconditional tolerance
