I can see you frustrations dear. I am a backend developer and I did freelance while searching for a job for over 5 years. Freelance is hard. You never know when the next pay will come. So I made up my mind and started developing my own product (mobile app) The first 6 months I was making 20k to 30k profit. 1.5years after I make around 100K to 150K in profit and my aim is around 5M in profits. The only thing I focus on now is the business side and marketing. The only downside is that you need some years of experience at least 2 working on other people's project before creating yours. I made up my mind when I developed ulcer from the stress of freelance - customers are never satisfied. May God be with you. Kindly follow what you said in the last 30 seconds of this video
Ma, i am a first timer, this is my first video and i immediately fell in love with honesty... Me i believe there is 3 routes to this tech of a thing, 1. The freelance - Here one has to have the knowledge of a complete IT and Marketing company.... I also think it is the hardest of them all.... But it can also be very rewarding. 2, The Job route - Sharpen your skillset and get a job.... Marketing and getting clients does not concern one and 3. The Entrepreneurship route - Here building something that can solve people's problem and market it .... 4 The Educator route - Teaching people and charge them
@@emiliaverse i also think, we should also see the things we do as a stepping stone to something higher... We should try to diversify, scale up and invest in other things
Hi, this is what I will suggest. seek internship. It will help accelerate your learning curve, even if it is unpaid internship... take it and use that to learn.
Hi Fullstack dev here without a job also. Don't feel downcast. All you need is more time for more growth. Keep learning, set time for applying, and learn interview skills online
this is who you are, less energy for job searching, more energy for this path God is showing you. lastly. Most persons dont know the job market is getting bloody. hard years ahead. so stay indpendengt if it feels natural. you have a good audience already. in the end of the day follow your instinct
Good day, I hope you read this are you in port Harcourt, I love your videos and I will love you to be a mentor to me and I'm 15 years of age. Good luck in your job seeking🎉.
Hello good morning ,please i would like to ask about the programing languages you learnt and maybe if you can help me with some materials that can guide me on my Frontend journey .
I would only applaud you for some reason people have a better plan when advising others about life but not have a better plan for themselves. Trust God and follow your heart
It's just a matter of time, you will definetly get a job... You don't have to be totally honest during your interview... people fake it till they make it
Job interviews is a whole different skill on its own. I was lucky my employer is also a developer, so he understood the difference between interviews and actual coding. I would say you should keep applying(you don'tknow what opportunities you might miss if you don't), even while you are learning Next.js, TypeScript.. Next js docs is straight forward. keep going 💪
Look for another job, reject interviews that make you to do projects or exercises, just say that you got the knowledge and know how to code, say that if they are not happy in the 1 month with the results they can fire you but that wouldnt happend, too many enterprises they dont even know what is programming and the people that does the interviews they dont even know how to code xD
