Gutes Video. Passend zu diesem Schlager "Pigalle, Pigalle - das ist die große Mausefalle mitten in Paris". Solange keiner mit der Boombox durchläuft und dazu singt 😁
Named after Jean-Baptiste Pigalle (French pronunciation: [ʒɑ̃ batist piɡal]; 26 January 1714 - 20 August 1785[1]) was a French sculptor whose work was influenced by both baroque and neo-classical trends. As part of the RATP's Renouveau du métro program, the station's corridors were renovated on 29 April 2005. The lighting canopies in the connecting corridors then had the distinction of being punctuated by a few tubes diffusing a light blue, later white. The station of line 12 is established in a curve and its vault is semi-elliptical, a form specific to the old Nord-Sud stations. The decoration is in a Andreu-Motte style with two orange light canopies, benches in flat brown tiles and orange Motte seats.
So this means that Pigalle was not pronounced correctly in the German pop song "Pigalle - die große Mausefalle" from the 1960s, which is mentioned by Udo Krawallo in one of the other comments! 🤓 th-cam.com/video/hR2FnLodERM/w-d-xo.html

Das Lied kennt dort wahrscheinlich sowieso keine Sau.
White tiles make aisle many bright.
