Hello Momma Heng, I am a huge fan of your channel and love to cook Khmer cuisine as well. I’ve lived in Phnom Penh in my childhood and am a Canadian residing in Toronto. I notice you used a lot of paste-like palm sugar in your recipes. Please let me know when I can get them as all the Asian grocery stores here in the Greater Toronto Area only carry the hard, hockey-puck variety. I still remember spoken Khmer but have forgotten how to read and write the abugida scrip ( a writing system derived from ancient Indian Brahmin script of which written Khmer belongs). Thank you in advance.
Thank you for making your videos in Cambodian. I am blind and I was raised using the ingredients in Cambodian so it makes a lot more sense for me when I hear it in Cambodian instead of hearing it in English. Can you please give me the brands or more description on the packaging instead of using the words “like this”? Because I am blind and cannot see what you are showing on the screen. Thank you so much.
Stacie Leap I hope you can somehow get this message being that you are blind. I admire you for cooking even in your condition. You’re an inspiration. You remind me of Christina Ha. Wishing you the best in your endeavors and stay safe!
Hey there Stacie ! thank you so much for the support. I am so glad that I am able to share my recipes with you, In my new videos (not including my pre-filmed) I will be sure to be as descriptive as possible ! Once again have a great day
@@linda-ft3ye I agree. In Cambodia, they sell river prawns by the kilogram, equivalent to approximately 2.2 pounds. I heard that river prawns are about $25 USD per 2.2 pounds, equivalent to 1 kilogram. That means river prawns are approximately $11.40 per pound in Cambodia. (doing the calculations and conversions).
I made this last night and it was absolutely PERFECT!! thank you so much!!!
Merci depuis la France pour vos recettes de mon pays d'origine. C'est extraordinaire !
