Takes a woman to do it right. I watch the men take 15+ minutes to do what you did in two... and a better job as well. The men struggle pushing in the connectors, but you did it super fast with a screw driver. Again, well done. Edit: I just had to return to thank you one more time. I have these pair of proper sparky pliers for 30 years, and never knew they had a "crimping" tool added exactly like the one in your video. You just saved me $40 to go out and buy one. You da man... er I mean woman. I owe you big time.
I just got a battery box and looked at the lugs that were pre-crimped and the Anderson housing and had to come to TH-cam! You made it look easy thank you for uploading 😅
Nice to hear an Aussie accent when viewing from Australia
Bloody oath!
Do not double the cable back on the insulation as shown.
Strip longer and double back on conductor only avoiding plastic in crimp.
Thanks, great vid. They seemed like some form of black magic until you see them assembled, like a lot of things in life
Quick, straight to the point, easy to understand! Awesome! Thanks :)
I'm not going to sleep tonight, knowing you included the cable insulation inside that crimp.
It makes for a tighter crimp with Anderson's. Otherwise they can let go. You can not do it, but would need solder to ensure hold.
Simple, concise, easy. Best video on Anderson connections
excellent, and pleasant sounding narrator.

Hi, where do you get a set of those blue handle twin core stripping pliers ?
We do sell these on our online store www.homeof12voltonline.com.au or your local Jaycar store would also stock these
How about making them color coded.
Nice work, thanks for posting.
