  • In 2022 and 2023, we have seen a significant price and demand increase in tickets for major tours. The 2023 Taylor Swift Ears Tour had such high demand that it crashed Ticketmaster's site leaving fans outraged. Bruce Springsteen tickets have gone as high as $5,000 to $10,000, along with skyrocketing ticket prices for many other artists such as Paramore, Blink 182, Stevie Nicks & Billie Joel, and many more.
This video is focused on dynamic pricing/platinum tickets, service fees, and who makes from these high ticket prices and fees. What is dynamic pricing? Why did it get started? Who makes money from service fees? Who are the promoters involved?

This was a fantastic explanation of the whole ticketing industry issue- it seems that there are so many strings attached to ticket prices that cause them to fluctuate dramatically!

No that's the wrong way. You need to go the Savanna Bananas way and be pro fan. The more you are pro revenue the more attendance goes lower and you have to squeeze more from fewer people. It's stupid MBA thinking.
And all other charges should be shared. E.g. If there is a parking fee it should be shared 50% to the artist and 50% to the venue. Concessions etc also.
