  • Montana State University weed scientists Dr. Tim Seipel, located in southwestern Montana, near Bozeman, and Dr. Lovreet Shergill, located at the Southern Ag Research Center in southeastern Montana, near Billings, lay out the status of herbicide resistance in the state’s most problematic weed species in row crops in their different regions. Those include kochia, wild oats, green and yellow foxtail, Russian thistle, common lambsquarters and redroot pigweed.
