    A jurassic park movie won't work in a world scale though. They will no longer be a threat once they lose their advantage in an island. The only setting that could work is if smaller dinos started breeding in some kind of a forest/jungle, as tracking could be very difficult. That idea is presented in the first novel.

    David Koepp is writing this so I have faith if it was anyone else I wouldn’t care about this film. But as a long time fan of the first two films and novels I just want a decent grounded Jurassic story.

    Look im pretty anti Jurassic World trilogy, I think all the Jurassic World movies are horse shit but a Jurassic World movie written by the man who wrote Jurassic Park and The Lost World and director by Gareth Edwards sounds like it has potential especially because it’s not including any characters or old plot lines from the Jurassic World trilogy. Also rebirth is a Standalone film.

    Everyone saying "Yeah but David Koepp is writing this one so I have some hope!" As far as I'm concerned his writing abilities died with him when he got eaten by Rexy outside that Blockbuster Video in 1997. We already know the big dark secret is going to be the stupid Chaos Theory line of dinos from the toy line and dino men pitched in the previous shitty JP 4 pitches that never got off the ground. This movies isn't even worth seeing because we already know how it goes.

    You can thank super fans like Klayton Fioriti... Every other video he does he's saying "We'd love to see them go back to Site B", "Bring back that Sorna vibe", as if that'll save the franchise.... The dude is in love with The Lost World. And I get it, movie is classic Jurassic. But the franchise will never really grow past the island concept if we keep going backwards.

    • @bollockjohnson6156
      @bollockjohnson6156 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Did the franchise ever really have to grow though? Seems to me a more isolated setting would be perfect for a dinosaur film...give the dinos the advantage by being in their own habitat and the humans have the role of surviving...out in the world their roles will be reversed.

      @@muhammedzayan4399 As a fan I get that. Point being is they're going to have to do something different at some point if they're going to keep it going. Most of the people who aren't into the lore of Jurassic have gotten bored of the dinosaurs and jungle aesthetic. Unless they can do what "Prey" did for the Predator franchise hope may be lost.

    I didn’t mind the first Jurassic Workd movie. Nowhere near as good as the original, but entertaining. The other two I have never been able to revisit. I feel like people forgot the original was probably closer to a horror movie in that it made the dinosaurs scary. I am pessimistically hopeful, if that’s a thing, that the new one will at least be entertaining, but I doubt it.

      @theanalyst9592 "Jurassic World: Rebirth" is considered a "soft reboot" of the Jurassic Park franchise, meaning it will take place after the events of the previous Jurassic World films but will feature new main characters and a fresh story, aiming to revitalize the series with a different tone and perspective; it's not a complete restart of the storyline, but rather a new direction within the same universe.
      set five years after "Dominion," a covert operations expert named Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) leads a team to secure genetic material from three massive, remaining dinosaurs in isolated equatorial regions, aiming to develop a life-saving drug; however, their mission intersects with a civilian family stranded on an island after a run-in with aquatic dinosaurs, where they uncover a shocking, previously unknown secret hidden from the world for decades.
