If you're letting Klay go, you better be planning something big, like freeing cap for a relevant hire. You either make big moves NOW or bye-bye Curry window.
Us Bay area fans have seen Willie Mays, Reggie Jackson, Joe Montana and Ken Stabler just to name a few leave, we'll survive just fine if Klay moves on.
Honestly i think if we lost chris paul and klay doesnt want to resign and we couldnt get another star player and just had to pick up a couple role players to fill those slots. Sucks for Steph klay and dray they have a bad new GM.
Kuminga is not and should not be on the table. Kuminga is a priority for the future. Rid Wiggins, Looney/Moody, Paul and go get KAT. Either sign Bruce Brown/KCP & Jasean Tate
Klay Thompson is a spoiled brat. Look at the film how he acted during his absence. How he acted when he was benched. He's a "Me" player. Tired of the guy. Thanks for your work but get real dude.
For real, right? His attitude has changed since the injuries. Klay was never this sensitive or had this much of an attitude problem pre-injuries. Klay was more of a chill guy back then. I think part of it is because basketball was everything to Klay. When he was without basketball those 2 years, he really struggled with it, especially that second year with the achilles injury. I understand how hard it was for him coming back, and that he lost 2 years of his prime with those injuries, but he has to accept the fact that the Warriors and the league in general don't view Klay the same as he they did back in 2019. As far as him being a "me" player, that may be the case which is also surprising based on his attitude and personality pre-injuries, even though we did kind of see a sign of that when KD came and he was asked what he would sacrifice with KD coming here, and Klay said that he wasn't sacrificing nothin.
Why would Klay stay with an aging team that won't make it far in the playoffs for years to come? Alternatively, why not go to OKC, Orlando or Philly, make good to great money, and go deep into the playoffs? The Warriors are going through a slow death. The owners know fans will stay loyal as long as Steph is here. But the team is now at least three key players away from being competitive. Lose CP3 and GP2. See what value you can get for Wiggins, Draymond, and/or Kuminga (in a recent ranking, he was not included in the Top 25 under 25). My guess, - not much. The Warriors are stuck in the bottom half of the NBA for years.
Warriors should go hard after Giannis!! Giannis 1 Ring in 10 years. He wants to play with Steph. I don't think Paul George will take us over the top. Jimmy Butler always hurt. Ad is always hurt and still soft in my opinion. I'm a fan of getting either Lauri Markkanen, Herb Jones, Jonas Valanciunas, Giannis, Johnathan Isaac, Demar Derozan, Marcus Smart, Nic Claxton is too small at center, Jeremy Grant. Maybe Brook Lopez, maybe Steven Adams.

If the trio doesn’t work; if Klay/Green not good on team; how/why they win 2022 championship? Maybe it’s the supporting casts not good enough; JK/Moody/Podz/CP3/Looney and others just not good enough! W’s still could go 2-more yrs to get championship if they surround the trio with better supporting casts; not the other way around. If Klay/Green out; it’s pretty much over for the era; knowing how hard it is and will take long time for all the newbies to work with Curry/know the system well
JK, podz, and TJD spent most of the season picking up the slack left by klay, wiggins, CP3, and Draymond. Blaming the supporting cast when the starters were bad, mid, or flat out unavailable most nights is the definition of cope. Move on.
If the Warriors are starting Draymond Green, they have to find a shooter at the 5 spot. I don't think Jared Allen is enough of a scoring threat. So no more 2 non-shooters in the starting lineup. That is a recipe for further disaster.
Podziemski should NOT be starting. The Warriors need to find a good veteran combo guard to pair with Curry. Have Podziemski come off bench with Payton 2 or Moody.

No respect for DeMar, man is going to be a free agent.
Letting klay walk n starting podz at the 2? Worse than this year wtf is that
This is better than playing Klay for 30 mins of basketball whether starting or benched !!
Whomever made the decision to draft Wiseman RUINED the near future. Also, Kuminga and Moody were not good picks at their draft positions. McCaw, Bell D. Jones, Smiley, Pascall picks all a complete waste. Myers was not good. Dunleavy's 1st draft was better than any of Myers drafts.
BRO KUMINGA IS A SUPERSTAR IN THE MAKING!! U GUYS WILL FOREVER HATE THE DECISION TO TRADE HIM!! Foolish
James was the highest rated center since David Robinson! They showed 0 patience with him. They should have just drafted Lamelo Ball....if they really didn't want Melo because of his big-mouth dad dissing Steph all the time? Trade him to a team that coveted him. What am I talking about??? Looks like they completely screwed themselves and Ant Edwards was their only hope in that draft.
@@JaeSprooHuh? He couldn't even sit into a screen like a real center
Ur a causal JK truly is gifted
Klay is becoming a baby
If you're letting Klay go, you better be planning something big, like freeing cap for a relevant hire. You either make big moves NOW or bye-bye Curry window.
I’d call it a big three window for Steph klay and dray.
Neither Paul George R Butler? Need to come to the warriors. Bad mistake, you have to give up half the team to To get either one .
Us Bay area fans have seen Willie Mays, Reggie Jackson, Joe Montana and Ken Stabler just to name a few leave, we'll survive just fine if Klay moves on.
Jimmy is always hurt. Klay has played through his injuries he'll be waaaay better next season!!!
Honestly i think if we lost chris paul and klay doesnt want to resign and we couldnt get another star player and just had to pick up a couple role players to fill those slots. I dont think that makes us much worst than we were last year. Considering our younger players got a little better and our older players dont totally fall off next year. I think we end up with the same record as we did last year and then atleast we have room to bat for something bigger the year after. All i gotta say is if they spend the money on some old player that doesnt make sense like they did for a chris paul then its clear they have no clue what theyre doing.
Facts
Klay needs to explore Free agency and determine his real value in the NBA
We were trash with Podz starting! We need Moody in there, Podz isn’t an offensive threat then he’s a little man!
Podz is a backup at best. Yall trippen 🤣
Klay wants the money and years.. The Dubs don't want to handicap their cap with the money and years. Why is Klay upset? He should know it's business and the Warriors have to also look forward (as Klay is doing as well). Best thing for both is to part ways on good terms.
They should give him the 48 over two and then a few million for two more, maybe an extra 12 for years 3 and 4 as a vet with limited minutes.
@@AR-rn8ok That would handicap the team's cap, though, which is why they are bucking at giving him an offer he wants. I'm sure the Warriors would love to keep Klay - he's forever a Warriors and NBA legend - but they also have to look forward.
Warriors paid Klay max $$ to sit and rehab, now he wants top $$ after a mediocre regular season and an 0-10 shooting performance in an elimination playoff game
Klay had one real bad season which was statistically still better than most highly respected shooters and role players in the league. And now everyone hates him. Forgetting all he did for this franchise. How quickly they forget and turn on you. I hope klay leaves n torches the warriors for 40. The fans don't deserve him
The Fanbase wanted a 7 footer last year and this year everyone wants Klay gone!!!!!!!!
No PG, thank you! It would be the same mistake as signing CP3! If Dubs sign PG, they're are doomed.
Yes, trade CP3!
Don't put JK$ name in your trade fantasy.
Poole's contract was fair and market acceptable. Who knew he would absosutely self-implode afterward. Wiggins' contract was fair and market acceptable. He has so little drive that the optics are terrible, and he might not look as bad on a team that didn't have championship aspirations. I hope you don't mean to say Green's contract, to you, is a thank you contract. He has a contract the reast of the league would trade for. He means so much more than just what he can do on the court.
Klay I get it but why in the world would they give up Kuminga? They need to get younger not older
Kerr will continue to play small ball and only beat teams below 500. This is my prediction but I hope I'm wrong
Dunleavy will kill us like his basketball career.....
He traded Poole for CP3 😭😭
But drafted Podz and TJD as well 😌 I hope Kerr's fetish of guards go away .... I'm counting on dunleavy to bring a big and a number 2 without giving up Kuminga
@@sumedhtayade4708 Poole was a boi even tho he had an ego he could score at will.
@@whatthefvckisfashion638 yess ...he left and we didn't even make the playoffs ... We had no second scoring option ...🤷🏻🤷🏻
@@whatthefvckisfashion638 Poole was also supposed to be the bridge between 2 timelines
Other free agents seem like they are messing with the warriors rookie GM. They’re baiting them so the warriors wait in hopes of signing a big fish, not sign Klay, piss him off, and then lose klay and the free agent and end up with nothing and it’s one less team to worry about come playoffs.
Mr Klay is an important asset to GSW
46 million a yr and they was not enough to motivate him to show up for a play in game. a game that they needed to win. im sorry but even austin reaves at 12 million a yr didnt go 0-10 in the play in tournament
@@abprepboy33 there will be times when you have bad days at shooting for the baskets. It happens to me too when I play basketball outdoor on my free time. It’s alright. There are plenty more seasons forward. Don’t get discouraged off one bad play. It doesn’t dictate the overall value of a player.
@@Mai.707.89 i dont know any other player making 46 million a year who went 0-10 in the play in tournament..... definitely not one expecting a big contract as a reward.
@@abprepboy33 i am going to excuse myself on this one because i am not fully educated in the professional nba basketball world
@@abprepboy33 Mr Klay is very important to the people of the bayarea and north bay. Including myself.
Klay just go home to your mommy, take the minimum in lakerville. Trade Wigs to Poole in DC for Kuzma.
Warriors already gave Klay a "thank you" contract when they signed him to good money just as he got injured then was missing for 2 straight seasons worth of excellent money.
When these young players take over; W’s ain’t gonna have the money going in /hype as they won’t have another trio like Curry/Klay/Green for prob 20yrs later…fans gonna be disappointed yrs after yrs
Paul George - that would do it.
2 more old guys in jimmy butler and PG. Enough is enough. And warrior fans are confusing, they say they want to give curry as much help as possible but don’t want to trade JK. You have to give up talent to get talent
Slater is just wrong. They offered Klay 2 years $48 million and he declined. So I guess he's leaving.
Let Klay walk. I love the old Klay but this new Klay is a kook and he's not very good either. Why max out out salary cap for him?
Sounds like there's a lot of misleading 'information.' Believe no one.
Dubs are toast.
They paid him for 2 years to do nothing. Get real
good. klay is washed.
No to JK
Everybody giving picks AND JK and more for trades lol
Bulls just traded for giddy alone
Warriors people want to give the house for all trades
W’s I think could live/thrive w/o Poole, CP3, Wiggins, Looney, JK, Moody, Podz; but if loose Klay/Green; it’s really over! They have to find another Curry/Klay/Green and that wk t ck e for another 10-yrs or so
Curry taking injury risk playin in Olympics and season . Does it matter. Owner shot accross the bow. We're not paying luxuary tax.
Klay is going to the Lakers
I would sign and trade klay and gp2 for Reaves and Hachimura
Warriors ownership are some cold-blooded franchise!!! My advice is to pray and take the 2yrs and live within your means and play the hell out of some basketball and try and make good investments and trust God will open up some doors 🚪 for you to be successful after your basketball days are done. Hopefully he'll find a wife and make some babies 👶 lol,🤷♂️
Move on.
Move on from Klay
Maybe klay’s agent sucks.
No to Jimmy and PG
Jimmy and PG are both terrible options!
Move on from Klay
Trade Wiggins for J. Allen
Trade CP3 Moody Loon picks for Lavine
Curry
Lavine
Kuminga
Green
Allen
Not lavine ... We should make a move for Mikal bridges ... We'll be top 5 defence with mikal, Kuminga, Draymond and allen
Is j. Allen still with Cleveland? Why the hell would they want Wiggins back? I think they’re a little smarter than that hahaha
No shooting
If the Warriors are starting Draymond Green, they have to find a shooter at the 5 spot. I don't think Jared Allen is enough of a scoring threat. So no more 2 non-shooters in the starting lineup. That is a recipe for further disaster.
@@sumedhtayade4708mikal bridges would actually work , that would be a really great option
u aren't winning
They lost me with pg 13 and jimmy buckets 🤣👎
Podziemski should NOT be starting. The Warriors need to find a good veteran combo guard to pair with Curry. Have Podziemski come off bench with Payton 2 or Moody.
bro unless ue steph, i dont want to see any long term or big money going to anyone over freaking 30. what did this last season show u? all the teams that got far are young. the warriors are already fucking tiny compared to some teams. then u got ppl who are old and/or injury prone who cant keep up in terms of stamina and speed. Like the warriors at one point was one of the best defensive teams but then mike left to coach for sac and their defense fucking tanked. they can't shoot as good as they used to. they dont have the speed and stamina as they used to. they old. not to mention as box office as curry is. most of the teams captial is spent on him so there isnt a lot of money to build around steph if the whole goal is to be under the tax
