Apsarakonda Falls is a small yet beautiful water falls in the hillock near Honnavar. Best time to visit is during the monsoon when it is in its full glory. The waterfall descends from a height of about 50 feet to a natural pond formed below it. There are couple of hundred steps to go down to the base of the falls, there is also a park maintained by the Karnataka Forest Department that has breathtaking view points and trails to go to these points, there is also a trail to go down to the beach and kelginoor lagoon. Sunset views are amazing from the Apsarakonda hilltop. Here is a short video of the falls, park and view points with more information.
