I actually like the result! You did a good job and this dirty blonde looks really good on you ❤

Wella colour charm, contrary to what most people think,is permanent colour not a toner. It does contain the same amount of NH3 as any other traditional permanent hair dyes, which means that, even with low volume H202, it will lift natural colour. You probably already know it, T18 is only meant to be used on extremely pale yellow hair: level 10, which can be natural or bleached, though results tend to be slightly different due to different porosity levels in natural hair Vs bleached.

Thank you so much for the information! I knew this wasn't going to work ☺️ I did it just to show other people because I know a huge search on TH-cam is T18 and T14 toning hair. So I was just putting this out there so people could see. It was an experiment. ☺️ But, I do appreciate all the information you have given. Well, when it comes to Wella Color Charm Permanent Liquid toner, it says toner in the name so I think that is where people get confused because most of us who do not at home didn't go to school for hair. And that's okay! My hair was very pink at this time and I was about to tone it out in other ways ☺️

question maybe you can answer since you seem knowledgeable lol. my front pieces were black box dye, i’ve bleached them and they were super orange, i’ve toned it twice and nothing has changed. i’ve used both toners before on the same level of hair and it worked so not sure what changed but i’m gonna try again this weekend with t14 and the 050. with the toner i previously used being a permanent wella toner, will a new toner even work on a permanent toner?

i’ll add that multiple people have told me i’m crazy and its currently blonde not orange but i still see brassiness so i know it’s light enough, some strands are nearly white but majority is definitely orange tinted blonde

Yes wella is a permanent color why its sayin to use 20 vol on box explains that smh bc no one should ever ise 20 vol on an actual toner always a 10 vol on real TONERS i watched "Hair Buddha" and learned this today wella has been misleading ppl😂😂

Hi doll! Just some wee advise..
I'm not a hair dresser, but I've been doing hair Longer than you've been alive😂
You did well however, next time try it on damp hair, and mix both T14 and T18 together with 20 volume developer At the same time.
Note, You'll have to leave it on a little longer😊

pixie, As you have been doing this a long time can you please help me, I have successfully lightened my hair about 4 times And used T 18 toner, then it stopped working, my roots are brassy , sorry Jaid for asking a question x

@@janewright1247 no worries at all! Ask away! Get that help you need! All I can think is your hair isn't light enough for T18 and maybe you need to try a different toner. But than again you didn't ask me. I hope they can help you!

You may have been doing hair for ages...but apparently you skipped your chemistry classes. Neither of those permanent colours will cancel out brassy /warm yellow tones, on their own or mixed, simply because they are meant to work on a level 9/10. I think T11 is supposed to be effective on a level 8(orange)

      Hey, Negative Nancy the troll,
A little advice for you, try and be kind to others, Being ugly is not becoming!
      Apparently you missed kindness class!
Toners are not "colors" Meant to simply tone out colors you don't desire...... It's color theory, get yourself a color wheel..dear!
Go troll elsewhere , you picked the wrong one..

Thank you, I've been wondering what the limits on t-18 were, but didn't have anyone to try it on

You needed to add half a bottle of wella 050 to the t14. Game changer

@venom7774 Would you do this just for the orange then T18 on the yellow parts or like in the vid and just do the whole head with T14&050 then T18 after?

10 volume developer still lifts but it’s not as strong as a 20
