Triple option is very very successful... But it takes a lot of discipline to run it. It works . People just wanna see spread and all that pretty stuff . But old school power football still works .
Once a triple option team starts pushing the other side off the line of scrimmage things can get very ugly, very quickly. They just keep pounding away, down after down, and the runs start to add up.
The DII Championship Game is usually a good one every season. I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch in the 2024 game. It's a shame that the players have to play in a HS stadium. Yes, it's a nice stadium, but it's still a HS stadium. A college championship shouldn't be played in a HS stadium. Come on NCAA, move the game.
Harding stadium seats 6,500. CSM stadium seats 4,000. This high school stadium seats 14,500. Only 10,000 people there for this game. I don’t understand your argument. NCAA would be paying a LOT more money for absolutely no reason
@@Icoach4free you're right about the HU and CSM capacities, but the championship was at McKinney ISD Stadium and capacity was 12,000 and attendance was 12,552. But both schools have a big alumni base in TX. NCAA could probably use a slight upgrade in capacity, but attendance will fluctuate year to year. If they keep selling it out, Allen ISD has a brand new 18,000 seater a few miles down the road.
Scary to think Harding returns 7 on defense and all their skill players on offense for next year!

Lemmie guess, most of the students are majoring in mining?⛏
Engineering but yes basically 😂
Nope
Harding did a really good job of using over formations and then attacking the weak side of the over rotated defense.

I love miners!

Hahaha
Two fine institutions.

That is possibly the largest stadium either of these teams has played in all season. Ijs
