4:45 you actually don't need to send one person ahead, you get the checkpoint automatically after defeating the elite. 5:46 I found the most reliable way to find the real Amala is to use tab target until you find one with enemy descriptions (i.e. "Dervish, Channels Gods") under her healthbar. The other illusions don't have that. Also since the real Amala is the enemy with the highest rank you will usually get her first using tab and don't have to wait for a moa cast. 6:00 The person targeted by the moa can just use the special action key, this way no one else will have to dodge.

I kinda wish someone would do guides where they do the entire fractal as it was meant to be done i.e. not skipping all mobs without th cheesing techniques. Because most Pugs groups I find try to cheese it and just ended up taking longer because they kept dying.
very nice vid. good job. i personally have had very smooth runs with capable groups and terrible runs with less capable ones. as you said, the lightning strikes is a pug killer and i agree 100% with that. keep up the amazing work!
2:47 dont respawn, let mesmer respawn alone and he can CS mimic blink mimic blink blink to next checkpoint located at 3:21 where he then gg's and then everyone respawns, also at 4:47, you don't need a party memeber to trigger checkpoint, its triggered on death of the elite

does Hs have a website with guides/builds etc? I'm wondering about the warrior build? im still jsut running condi BS but would love to know the spellbreaker build and which fights its more useful for?
Unfortunately no website, I've just got a good ol' fashion spreadsheet :P Here's the Spellbreaker build that I run bit.ly/2mXrTLE :) The strength of this build over the regular condi berserker build is its burst potential and the ability to swiftly remove a lot of boons from your enemies (which frees up the Disenchanter slot for the chrono, to then be able to give more alacrity). Which makes spellbreaker very suited for fractals :) Note that this build is really only fully effective for short fights, or fights with many short phases, and for fights where the enemies get boons. For longer fights however (i.e. raid bosses) the regular condi berserker build is still better in the long run.
Deroir ah yeh raids is bannerbae for sure. But I can't think of many fractals with one static boss that lasts more than a couple.of mins so I was thinking SB for those short fights but is the dps worse than power warrior?
To be quite honest I dont really know what the numbers on regular power warrior are :P I just know that spellbreakers power dps is quite reasonable, effective and fun to play x) lol I'm not a big fan of the warrior greatsword, but getting to play dagger/dagger again as well as (unironically) using axe/axe feels amazing! :D
Deroir I totally understand. Back when I attempted power ps in raids, that constant dodging and gs3 spin was so irritating. Daggers look super fun but now I need to swap all my AR over to zerk armour on my warrior *sigh*
It's actually just 1 bubble lasting for 10seconds, but for some reason the visuals only last for 5 seconds before just restarting. So it just looks like he spawns two :P Kinda odd

in Lyssa form, you can just use Defult "Tab" to target the correct amala ;)
