We should not look down on people because we classified them as poor. They might have started poor but we all didn't start at the same level. Some through no fault of theirs didn't get the education they soo much desire. So we need to choose our words carefully and instead of damaging someone, inspire and encourage the person and build them up. Thank you.

I’m not going to watch this video, I just came here to say this - you have the potential to do so much better. Research and bring up better content/topics for discussion. The world is moving forward. We can’t still be talking about ethnic stereotypes in 2023, that shit belongs in the 90’s.
If you must generalize, the appropriate word to use is “ethnocentrism” not “tribalism”. We are humans not fucking monkeys. ❤️

I'm not sure if you are naive or simply d**t! It's no fault of Gas if you were surrounded by underachieving, family members. They don't represent every other Ga.

Stupid thought... It shouldn't be entertained at any level. No true and well cultured Ga-Dangme will make such claims.
She needs to be educated, the foundation of Ghana's Independence was laid by Ga-Dangmes which catapulted soo many of our people into greatness.
Is too lazy of a mind to regard people you see on the streets of Accra to be Ga-Dangmes or only Ga-Dangmes you know... Majority of the people who stays in the Ga communities are not Gas which l can say with facts. The fact that people are eloquent in Ga, does not make them Ga-Dangmes.
This is a funny assertion, l don't know the line of interview though but the guest is very damn too... They both need education.
I will be back if necessary....

If you did a little research before this podcast, you'll know of many GAs who are successful. Not to talk of other GA families. I have many successful people in my family. If you travel to other parts of the country, you'll realize that illiteracy is what mainly determines if a person will engage in the local trade in that area or will try to push upwards.

Don't be used as a reason why people continue to discriminate and disrespect your tribe, your relatives. In fact it would be good if you do a follow up on this topic and invited some successful Ga men on to your show. Your podcast will be a good look if you do your due dilligence and produce content that informs and educates rather than you share your opinion on things you know little about.

I am glad I found this so I can respond direct. Your stereotype about Gas is wrong. I have family members who are Doctors, Actors and many more valuable skills like hairdressing. My dad was an Auditor, my uncle a Dentist and my cousin is an actor in the UK and US. Some completed university with degrees in Mathematics and Chemical Engineering. My own son is studying Computer Science. My daughter is a successful musician youtube.com/@manyefi1291. Gas are successful but we don’t make noise about it. How do you define success anyway? Is it through content creation on social media? Lol !!! You are also wrong to say all the people in the other tribes are successful. Definitely you will find some section of the tribes who are not successful.
