2 Samuel 4 - David Upholds Justice

In the passage today, David’s rival to the throne of Israel, Ishbosheth, is murdered. Ishbosheth’s murderers go to David, thinking that he would reward them for what they had done. But David upholds justice and punishes these people for their crime.
