Loved this quote a lot! While watching your utube I do my ironing and a boring chore becomes a joy as I look forward to hearing your voice, seeing your home videos and travel videos and watching you create. Inspired to try this one. ❤
Thank you so much Ros, I love hearing that...you know my feelings about ironing...🫣 An attributed quote is always more interesting I think, as it gives the words a face, time and context. 😃💕Louise
That’s really lovely! I love the quote too! I come from bullet journaling, and bought so many from Notebook Therapy during lockdown that I am still using them as journals, memoryi keeping, book reviews…. alongside Travelers Company and Hobonichi!….. yes I have fallen down all the rabbit holes and then I got into fountain pens and inks! I think these interests have been latent in me since I was a child, I loved nothing more than a new set of pencil crayons and colouring books. Will get my Crayolas out and try to do justice to your lovely example. X
I love that Jean! Oh Notebook Therapy....their stuff is so nice, I had to stop following them as the temptations were too strong... lovely paper though I believe. Me too...the smell of a new tin of pencils was just the most exciting smell to me...I remember getting my first tin at 4 from my Tante Anja...I loved those pencils so much. I will look out on IG for your pages! 😃💕 Louise
Your illustration is lovely! And I was just looking at the Crayola supertips here over the weekend! I thought they might be a cheaper alternative to markers like Tombows!
Hi SquibbleDesign! Thank you so much...it is a bit "rustic" though, isn't it? 😆 It is possible to do brush lettering with the Crayolas but it does take more practice and twisting the pen. Most of the "hacks" that people do with the Tombows also work with the super tips as, at the end of the day, they are both water based markers. Even if you get the cheapest pack to try out, they are so affordable it's worth the experiment. 😃💕Louise
