  • Graham Hancock is a British author and former journalist. He is known for his controversial views on the possibility of a lost advanced civilization of the Ice Age, and his investigations of cataclysmic Earth changes, megalithic architecture, altered states of consciousness, ancient myths, and astronomical data from the past. He is the author of many extraordinary, best-selling books, such as "America Before", "Magicians of the Gods", "The Sign and the Seal", "Fingerprints of the Gods", "Heaven's Mirror", "Underworld", and "Supernatural".

Graham Hancock is someone I really look up to. Very early in my youtube career, I had the great pleasure of meeting Graham. He was so encouraging and he inspired a thrilling curiosity about our past. And here we are 5 years later. I am proud to present this presentation. Graham has a beautiful way with words. It was an honor to add art to this. If you like this video and want to help create more, please consider supporting After Skool on Patreon. Thank you! www.patreon.com/AfterSkool

I personally are so grateful for your channel and the information and drawings you produce. Giving Graham Hancock a platform to speak his truth truly fills my soul with positivity and love (and a conscious thought to keep myself grounded, respectful and gracious). I turned 47 yesterday and spent some time in Foremark woods near Repton Derbyshire where was found many Viking bodies a few years ago. Self realization enabled me to meditate and connect with the Earth, the Sun, Trees, Wind. Life is beautiful, warm and peaceful, I hope that 1 day this can be shared with everyone. I believe we need Natures wisdom more than ever now.
Love, peace and wisdom to all. And many thanks

That's because the narrative has the cattle in a trance so the cattle can't draw parallels between the past and now. The cattle can't use their brains and even if they do it's almost nil and only done so to justify and defend their opinions which are just the narrative's opinions they regurgitate. The cattle don't know much about history either, and because they're so asleep and obedient they think that things that happened in the past or in movies can't happen in the present.

And we honestly need to. Especially right now. One thing we need to be paying attention to at the moment is the early to mid-twentyest century in both the United States and Europe. It would give us a bit of a blueprint for what's going on now and what must be done in order to prevent going down the wrong path. Unfortunately that won't help us with climate change which adds a new and urgent element. We need a President who would call a national emergency, put us on WW2 footing but not for war. In order to save the planet. Hopefully other world leaders would follow his lead.

I asked my Grandmother about the great depression of the 1930's. She said, we didn't have any money before the depression, so didn't make much difference to us. We had a farm, mules to do the plowing, a milk cow. We grew all the food we ate, and knew how to hunt. People in the city had a hard time, but we did OK.

Late to the party but I absolutely love that sentiment. People act as if low income country dwellers somehow have an objectively worse and more miserable existence than the rest of us. Not just in the United States but in Africa and Asia too. I think that’s an oversimplification and ultimately not truly representative of lives experience. I envy the lifestyle actually, it is much closer to how we are meant to exist as a human species. There will be hardship with that life, but there will also be hardship and stressors for even middle class urbanites. Neither way is objectively better, there are advantages and there are disadvantages.
We’ve just been conditioned to think that any lifestyle that results in participants not having a lot of money is inherently worse. Fuck that. If I can eat and sleep somewhere safe then I’m happy.

What works best for me is: whenever I feel helpless, or at the mercy of the very real possibility of the cataclysmic downfall of Civilization, I seek out, and obtain educational material pertaining to self sufficiency, off-grid living, and the identification of wild edible and medicinal plants for foraging. Our fall from grace came from not recognizing our connection to everything else in the universe. We have created a civilization which values a mechanistic world where there is no greater power. The conflict may have been due to crop failures from cold. If so, we're thriving now but it could happen again. I watched countless hours on civilizations and made notes, these are the ones containing 'bronze' in case anyone's interested.
      Line 7: BC_3300 - BC_1200 Bronze Age
Line 53: BC_1800 - BC_1500 Middle Bronze Age Cold Epoch, a period of unusually cold climate in the North Atlantic region en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_Bronze_Age_Cold_Epoch
Line 54: Bond Event 2 - possibly triggering the Late Bronze Age collapse
Line 92: BC_3500 - BC_950 - BC_750 ? Trojans, dates are a mess, but Trojan is just before the Bronze Age collapse th-cam.com/video/12eHJL2yRtk/w-d-xo.html
Line 141: BC_1700 - BC_1200 is the Late Bronze Age
Line 161: BC_1200 end of the Late Bronze Age, stalagmites showing cold and dryer th-cam.com/video/4IL-TeV-cqY/w-d-xo.html
Line 244: BC_1450 Minoan civilization in the Mediterranean declines, but scholars are divided on the cause. Possibly a volcanic eruption was the source of the catastrophe (see Minoan eruption). On the other hand, gradual deforestation may have led to materials shortages in manufacturing and shipping. Loss of timber and subsequent deterioration of its land was probably a factor in the decline of Minoan power in the late Bronze Age, according to John Perlin in A Forest Journey.
Line 315: BC_1206 - BC_1187 Evidence of major droughts in the Eastern Mediterranean. Hittite and Ugarit records show requests for grain were sent to Egypt, probably during the reign of Pharaoh Merenptah. Carpenter has suggested that droughts of equal severity to those of the 1950s in Greece, would have been sufficient to cause the Late Bronze Age collapse. The cause may have been a temporary diversion of winter storms north of the Pyrenees and Alps. Central Europe experienced generally wetter conditions, while those in the Eastern Mediterranean were substantially drier. There seems to have been a general abandonment of peasant subsistence agriculture in favour of nomadic pastoralism in Central Anatolia, Syria and northern Mesopotamia, Palestine, the Sinai and NW Arabia.
