What a joke. You cannot tell me that if you code a superuser routine that you wouldn't set a flag to the security team, whenever it was in use. I think they were ALL in on it!
And there it is again. AQ small blind short stack, no callers, shove to steal right into KK in the big. This has been going on for moths over hundreds of tourneys. It does not end.
There's a really easy way to fix this. First, legalize and regulate poker. Second, all sites' code must be independently verified. Third, confirmed registration. A player goes down to a reputable bank and registers their identity (which is confirmed by the bank) with a poker site. They are given a registration code; and their bank account is linked to that site. Once an identity is registered, it cannot be used again for that site. Linking to a bank account also gives the site access to recoup funds in case cheating is discovered. Using crypto only makes cheating worse.
I'm sorry, I don't want some poker site having free and clear access to my checking account. A site shared blacklist and perhaps some kind of felony background check would suffice and even that is pushing it.
I've been playing poker in casinos for roughly 30 years. I had never seen this video. Frankly, from the inception of online poker and all the way until now, my belief has been that anyone playing for more than little token amounts of money online is, by definition, a total sucker. Yes, some will win money, but the above story will for 10,000% certainty be periodically if not continually be repeated. Also, if you just use simple logic, guess what the owners of these sites will do if they begin losing money? They say they are regulated, but from my perspective, when you play online, you may well be the only "live player" at your table, with the rest just computer simulations running scripts to get your money as slowly or quickly as they decide. Vegas now is trying to replace table games with electronic onsite versions. Anyone who plays them is an even bigger sucker. They will quote all their security, blah, blah, blah, but casinos only have one objective, and frankly their only consideration is how to maximize their profits. They will do anything to get your money, including paying off the "oversight".
