I miss my American bully, he just died of cancer about a month ago. He was roughly 130 pounds and at the time when he died he was only like 70 pounds. He never acted like he was hurting and ate snacks until the day he died. RIP Gordo.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Ours just passed about 3 months ago. Over 100lbs in his prime, ours too, lost massive weight in his final months. . ( weighed 48 lbs his final day on this earth 😢). . Went out eating some Big Macs, a final hike in his favorite trail, and all the love momma and poppa could give him. RIP to your gordo ♥️
Had a rottweiler and my youngest child has autism. She looked after him like he was her pup. Very protective of him. Always would sleep in the bed with him. She would sit on the porch, watching whoever came walking by. Never did she leave the porch. But if someone came towards the house she would come to attention. She didn't attack but made sure whoever it was knew she was watching. Once I introduced the visitor she relaxed but still watched. If I was to ever get another large dog it would definitely be another rottie.

I know of an NFL star who hired a personal trainer for his Pit Bill. Every day started with a 5 mile run, then pulling weighted sleds. That dog was super strong and seriously shredded. Just a gorgeous animal!
We are a boxer and bully breed family. You have to make sure that your dogs are properly trained. I see so many bully owners that are being pulled behind their dogs, have super reactive dogs and hardly any control. It is saddening to see owners not trained well enough in dog handling. Mine don't pull on the leash and only react if I permit them to. I can call them back mid chase and they listen to everything I say. Always correct their behavior immediatly when they are stepping out of line...the proper way. Don't intimidate your dog and make him fearful of you. It's a partnership where you are the leader. Make them respect and love you through proper training. These dogs want to work so allow them to work. I hear it all the time...my dog chewed up half my apartment. Your dog is underexcersized, has separation anxiety and is bored on top of it. Kenneling is not always the answer. Sometimes it makes it worse.

People say it’s bad to use on a dog but if u do research you’ll see that narrative is completely false. Doesn’t harm the dog at all and works very effectively when used correctly.
Unfortunately they’re now being ruined by all the junk breeders. We never had any health problems with ours, now that the alcohol has them they will be ruined and made effectively useless in 10 years.
Had to break up my Cane Corso with an Anatolian Shepherd a few years ago.. I still have scars. The Shepherd had a hold of my arm and I had to pin it down and cover its entire body with mine while my arm was being shredded so that my dog would not take a bite out of the shepherd. A vicious dog fight I was directly in the middle and my Cane Corso would not even think about biting me. Love that girl

I was almost attacked by a Bernese Mountain Dog while making a delivery just a few days ago. I work for a pet store that does same day delivery so I encounter a dog on almost every single delivery. I had to fight a cane corsco and a Australian Shepard a few weeks back to save my moms dog, the Shepard didn’t do much, but the corsco was a brute.
Had to break up my Cane Corso with an Anatolian Shepherd a few years ago.. I still have scars. The Shepherd had a hold of my arm and I had to pin it down and cover its entire body with mine while my arm was being shredded so that my dog would not take a bite out of the shepherd. A vicious dog fight I was directly in the middle and my Cane Corso would not even think about biting me. Love that girl
I got bit in the face by a Australian shepherd. Some years ago. Had a American bully run up on me and my dog three nights ago and shot it.. play time is over. I’m disabled and will not even risk getting bit again!
Had a American Bully years ago and literally had people avoid us walking down the street 😂 dude was fkn shredded and had a good height like the second bully in the video. But was the most loving and caring dog out of all the ones I've had. I miss my baby boy Storm 🥺😥
Yep had one as well. You can literally walk in the most dangerous area and the side walk would clear. Having a bully increase your respect level by 1000 lol

The only problem is that it's illegal to kill big dogs that walk without leash and all other things that will block it's ability to bite and scratch you, because otherwise, you would have noticed little bit different reaction of people. (And i understand why there is no such law, it's not a dog that owner is a bad guy)

I just shot one three days ago. Came in my yard and tried to bite me and my small long haired chihuahua. Ran up on us I tried to wave him away and right when he leaped I caught him in mid air..pop.
I hate these fycking dogs and their owners too.. pisses me off how they think they shouldn’t have a leash. And I have scars in my face from one that bit me. So now I cut zero SLACK!!

Literally from alllll the way across the field these fuckers didn’t say stop or nothing just let this big ass dog run at me. I had to send a warning shot just to scare it away but if that wouldnt have worked smh idek i didn’t wanna shoot a dog

We had a Rottie for almost 9 years. Hands down one of the best breeds out there. We currently have 2 Cane Corso’s which are an entirely different breed in their own way.

I was almost attacked by a Bernese Mountain Dog while making a delivery just a few days ago. I work for a pet store that does same day delivery so I encounter a dog on almost every single delivery. There’s nothing wrong with a dog defending a home but if you’re expecting a delivery then please secure your dog inside your house…
People who own these types of dogs need to be secure of themselves so the dogs will listen. And if they're not they don't need to get one. These dogs are all very dominant and if they don't respect the owner is when bad shit happens! So in other words if you get one for intimidation purposes... You're going to end up on your ass in more ways than one!

Environmental factors like love, affection, and proper training only go so far. I've owned three and loved them but they're a huge liability for most owners due to their capabilities and animal aggression. Most people aren't responsible enough to own them and only have them as a fashion accessory.
