Hi @deborahanderson68 ! If you check the description box of B&W movies, you will find a link to the colorized version there, if we have uploaded it. Glad you liked it in color! Thanks for commenting!
Don't forget Mr.Dixon made the greatest Black American revolutionary movie ever...." The Spook That Sat By The Door", by Sam Greenlee book with his input and his blessing. Truly a great film in my humble opinion...Peace
_Well, my dearest Helen, I must confess that this old movie from 58 years ago is completelly unknown to me...I never heard nothing about anyone in the casting, even the director...So, for me it'S like as a blind date this flick...But, seeing the plot I noticed that it really worthwhile tô be seen! So I hope that you enjoy it here on CCC movie chat at live! God bless you always, my Sweet Lovelly Helen from my heart!_ 🤩🤩🤗🤗❤❤❤❤❤❤

The original black and white film is far superior …colorizing totally ruins the cinematographer’s intentions and robs the movie if it’s gritty authenticity. I am so glad that the “ colorization “ fad died the death it so richly deserved. Like painting a mustache on The Mona Lisa! Thank you for posting the original which I enjoyed very much! I was a kid in Junior High School when I first saw this film on a show called Million Dollar Movie( Channel 9 in New York) . It left a lasting impression .
I'm searching the premises for Helen Poornima! I think she's hiding behind the movie screen curtain or maybe under the concession counter. Grab a flashlight and help me look! That means you, too, Mike Silva!

What a disgusting idea to colorize this fine film! The beauty of the original black & white contrasts destroyed, the visual abstraction & compostition muddied by this colorization garbage.
Ivan Dixon deserved more recognition. He did excellent acting in Patch of Blue and in an Eye Spy episode. I'm a fan.
I think he was the greatest black actor of his era, extremely underrated
Ivan Dixon is the most underrated black actor of all time
Ivan Dixon was well known in a television series called Hogan's heroes. RIP.BRO RIP
I've been watching this movie for years in black and white. Nice update ❤

Životni film ,uvek neko nekoga tlači kroz vjekove pa i danas je mržnja prisutna na žalost.

He also played Osagai in Raisun in the Sun.
I remember Ivan Dixon from Hogan's Heroes.
Ahhh interesting
For you Ivan Dixon fans, research the original Twilight Zone series where he plays a washed up boxer
🙂 It's about time you show a black movie with substance instead of "Cotton Comes To Harlem".
Lol
The gas station manager looks like a combination of Charlie Sheen and Robin Williams

Once again colorization ruined a great movie
"Challenges in 1960's America" That's ok then, that's a long time ago....and now...??
Ei ! Porque não tem legenda em todos os idiomas para escolha se não é dublado? Isso não é legal, tem que ter uma coisa ou outra po!

I don’t care for these colourised movies.
