Most people are saying why did b.b.j break her fathers piano its the only thing they have left of him. You have to remember that b.b.j never cared to look into history of each elite before fighting them only general age, height, talent, and what music they play.
Not to mention Kliff never fully informed them of personal histories regarding the NSRtists (possibly on purpose too in order to make them further his own selfish agenda)
Yinu deserves so so much better... seeing the last memory of her father break in two breaks my heart. B.B.J are good, but breaking a little girl's heart along with her mother's heart is overall saddening. 💔
In a way, the intervention of B.B.J. It was not entirely bad or tragic for Yinu, they aren't the bad guys in the story here. Since before that, it was noticeable that Yinu's mother pressed her a lot, demanded perfection in her way of playing the piano and didn't let her as a lively child develop her imagination and have fun. Yinu's mother treated her like her puppet, which is symbolically seen in battle when she holds her and her piano with strings, all while telling her when to play and how to do it. Not for nothing at the end of the battle, Yinu says "I hate you all", not caring about anything, not caring about their recitals or the B.B.J. revolution, she simply wanted to be a happy girl as she was before when her father was alive, and she was not under extreme pressure and discipline from her mother to live up to the expectations of being the "Golden Queen" of Vinil City. So the breaking of the piano in a sense was something liberating and cathartic for Yinu, something that made her mother stop paying so much attention to her fame or prestige, and remember that deep down she is still a child, who simply wants to play. for fun and for love of his family.
@@Albert-P27 Something interesting I've noticed is the tone of her battle music. Always love to envision that this song is in fact the song that Yinu’s father taught her. Would also explain why her mother pushes her, it’s a of having him with them like a ghost.
Everything about her design is tragic. A literal golden child, achieve great heights at such a young age. Roses wilt, people can peak young. Her mother wilted only having thorns left, that in her final phase literally turns into a cage of jagged vines. So much subtext is there, and their relationship is wonderfully complex.
i mean, its not really out of hate. We saw in Sayu's boss fight how mayday took care in informing the kids about taking care of themselves. In yinu's case, she would not be reasonable since she is a child still. And even if the piano is broken, isnt it better that way? Yinu was being manipulated and tricked by NSR and wasnt able to realise it, only wishing to please her mother who became over protective after Yinu's father was gone and Moma at the time of the fight, was only considering Yinu's dream, not what she had to do to achieve it. Im sure the Father would be much happier that his Daughter isnt being used by some corporation rather than some piano being smashed because it was their piano, people live on through memories, not objects.
It was recklessness, not hate. Bunk Bed Junction wanted change to the political system and Yinu's piano was caught in the crossfire. They didn't outright destroyed Neon J.'s flying factory. They acknowledge when someone is beat and leave. They don't attack out of spite, they're aiming for a revolution and change. And again, Mayday states they're not heroes. They know what they're doing is extreme but the legal way didn't work and it was very clear they're being scorned. Fortunately, the piano did get fixed in the end with the help of Bunk Bed Junction returning Yinu's charter.
I think Yinu's piano being broken was the sad thing both she and her mother needed. You can tell that she's not just sad in this scene: she's mourning. Being selected from NSR made her feel like she was just doing what her father wanted her to do, but they're stuck in the past - she's so desperately clinging to that piano even when she's falling down - they never moved on. Seeing that piano smashed down made her and her mother move on, as if she finally realised it. She was finger playing the piano, similar to how a child learns to play first, the way her father taught her at first. Her mother realises it too as she hears those single notes.
Yinu was being pressured by her stage mom, forced into selling out to EDM by the NSR corporation, bullied by Mayday and Zuke for their revolution, and she obviously still wasn't over her father's passing. This is a moment that will probably be with her for the rest of her life.
I really don’t like to vent online, but today i’m gonna make an exception because this song hit me *hard.* I’m lucky to have both of my parents and all my grandparents still alive. However, we have to put our cat, who we’ve had for over a decade, down tonight due to health issues. This song just perfectly captures all the good times we had with him, and how painful they all feel now knowing he won’t be there tomorrow morning. Treasure the people and the pets close to you, because life doesn’t last forever.
from the images they put, Yinu's father was ill (it is not known that he was ill) and that song is dedicated to him because he ....... is no longer with Yinu and his mother, because he died. That's why it is only shown in photos and not in person, because as I said before, he died of some disease, this is seen at minute 1:43. Go that is something sad about Yinu But at the end of the game, Mayday and Zuke repair Yinu's piano which makes her feel happy again and when Tatiana apologizes to Mayday and Zuke, Yinu appears and forgives them but her mother is not there, which makes me think That she is fixing part of her district or is still resentful of what they did to her baby.
I love that all the villains have depth. They have something, most triple-A studios miss to give their villains. TAKE YOUR NOTES, EA/BIOWARE/UBISOFT/BLIZZARD Like, subatomic supernova Has a superiority complex rooting in nihilism; Sayu is a bunch of teens who wanted to be popular but didn't think about the consequences of that, Yinu just wanted to be with her mother loving her, Tenten was created to earn enough money to help their creator's home becoming a better place again and Eve just wanted to find people who are as artistic and view art as she does as she always felt lonely.
Let's not forget that tatiana wanted what was best for the city but couldn't step away from her passion, not just the bosses but even mayday and zuke gets some depths, mayday has an overwhelming passion for rock to please her long forgotten idol and will cause a revolution for it, and zuke has complicated relationships with both his brother and ex-girlfriend and balances his passion and problems with his friend mayday.
I don't know why but it's all so sudden to come up to me... But the Broken Piano version of her theme always randomly gives me a glimpse and flashback being a kid again: the fragile innocence of a little child.
no seriously guys this game has gone too far i mean why would the creators of nsr want us to fight a young girl with a gifted piano that belongs to her father after he died i mean isn't that a bit too cruel

Man, you know what would be more sadder if they make a sequel, a older but youthful adult of Yinu meeting her father at his grave stone, and greeting him the smile he saw when they played piano together 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Shit feels so sad, B.B.J broke the only thing to both Yinu and her mother’s memory of Yinu’s father, it’s really sad. And the song being out of tune makes it so much sadder, that they still play the song, even after the one thing they have of him was broke. B.B.J won, but at what price..?
Well, I mean, bbj ruined the concert, but mayday specifically broke the piano. Saying just bbj takes away accountability from mayday and also places blame on zuk for the piano being broken which he did NOT do.
The way that Yinu's mom has a panic attack when she hears the music always makes me tear up. It's almost like she still hopes her husband is alive and that it's him playing.
Yinu has my respect. Yinu deserves so much more. When I saw the picture where yinu's father was in the hospital bed I cried because I now know why yinu's mother was so mad and how yinu was sad when her piano broke. That piano is the only thing that remind yinu of her father.😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔😢😢😞😞😣😣😣😔😔😔😟😟😟
I just tried playing this by ear on my keyboard without having the song on for reference and it STILL made me tear up, incorrect off tempo notes and all, what a work of art
Yuni has a tragic past her and her mother used to play for yuni’s father until he passed due to sickness and her mother wanted to protect yuni and the end of her fight is sad.
People are saying her dad left her but after seeing that last photo I am sure he passed away which Yinu's theme is very memorable for those who have lost loved ones like myself. It really hits you in the feels
I think I know why Yinu joined nsr because of classical music, His father got a disease / other cases, in hospital, and the father died/still in hospital, so they joined nsr to get the fame and money to save her dad, but Yinu didn't want fame, she just wanted to be together with her family.
This is probably the song that her dad taught her before he passed away. I love this version, it brings out a sad and happy tune. Like you visit your grandparents grave and feel sad, but you also remember all the happy times too, and it brings those sad happy tears out. Like rain on a sunny day.
1:31 woah guys, I just realized; yinu's mom never always looked like what she currently is. If you look at the photo frame, you see a woman who has the same heart mark as Yinu's mom! This could of been her before she turned red. Maybe when her husband got sick, her anger and grief started to physically manifest and altered her form permanently. Or it's a condition like Eve's, since we know that either eve's split coloration formed over time, or it was already present, but she was just covering it up. Idk, but it has to be her! It's just too odd for coincidence.
Everyone else: BBJ are the real villains for breaking Yinu’s piano. Me: It fell all those stories... and only broke in two. Lengthwise. With enough pristine hammers that Yinu and her mother could play this afterward. Seems like a pretty sturdy piano to me.
I think the piano keeps her mom from getting angry and she is overprotective of yinu so she won’t get hurt anymore yinu’s mom just wants the best for yinu.
Although this might be an unpopular opinion, I do think Bunk Bed Junction fighting Yinu and breaking the piano may had been for the best since the outcome was this song. It's just my interpretation, but due to the lack of proper communication (which can confuse people and make them unhappy), Yinu and her mother were unable to actually tell what made each other happy since her mother believes the fame is what made Yinu happy and vice versa even though what really made Yinu happy was playing the piano. By the destruction of the piano, Yinu plays this song as a response which seems to help her mother realise what really made Yinu happy. Just a theory and opinion tho, haha
This game tought me one thing. Sometimes to achieve our goals, we have to stop someone else's. Even if it means destroying everything they built. Yinu was just a child who played not on her behalf, or her mothers, but her father. At just 9 she knows not just the feeling of success and devotion, but the pain and despair of losing someone. The fact she was stil playing her piano even split, made me realize that when you beat someone, you end what they have created. The fact the song she played has been confirmed to be one her fathers songs he tought her before he died was so sad. Mayday was right, they aren't heroes. All in all what they did was they went to a kids recital and not only ruined her play, but destroyed her piano. This game has all the flashy and loud top notch music and game, but if u take a second to see what you are doing and what it has done to others, was it worth it? You play as the protagonist and see only what you do, but never know what the enemies and bosses have done before you. This is why this game is so underrated and so well made because it shows what many have been doing and how they are now. Zukes brother Tatiana past Eves past Yinus past Even sayus creation
mayday after destroying yinus piano, destroying sayu, breaking 1010 and neon j's factory, and sending djss into fuckin space: :) mayday when her guitar gets destroyed: :(
Well... they were going after Yinu because she snubbed _them_ at _their_ big audition. She was actually the first one to give them an "X". So without the backstory with her father, revenge seemed like reason enough to go after her.

Not hate.
The piano was collateral damage.
Well her piano was fix after they save city

Go that is something sad about Yinu
But at the end of the game, Mayday and Zuke repair Yinu's piano which makes her feel happy again and when Tatiana apologizes to Mayday and Zuke, Yinu appears and forgives them but her mother is not there, which makes me think That she is fixing part of her district or is still resentful of what they did to her baby.
I love that all the villains have depth. They have something, most triple-A studios miss to give their villains.
TAKE YOUR NOTES, EA/BIOWARE/UBISOFT/BLIZZARD
Like, subatomic supernova Has a superiority complex rooting in nihilism; Sayu is a bunch of teens who wanted to be popular but didn't think about the consequences of that, Yinu just wanted to be with her mother loving her, Tenten was created to earn enough money to help their creator's home becoming a better place again and Eve just wanted to find people who are as artistic and view art as she does as she always felt lonely.
I didn’t need my heart but thanks :’D
Im not crying, we're all crying
no seriously guys this game has gone too far i mean why would the creators of nsr want us to fight a young girl with a gifted piano that belongs to her father after he died i mean isn't that a bit too cruel
Im not surprised really

At the end of the fight, when you see Zuke and May’s expressions, they seem to feel sorry for Yinu.
7,000 pianos are expensive
@@mrteddy718 why.
@@pepisinacan9381 it's true
Its not out of tune, its a style of another kind of music, the kind that gives you nostalgic feeling
Its cool that Yinus nose mark appeared more and more kinda like a flower blooming
It was the same with Eves pink side
Or like a bird's beak. Similar to how those strings holding up her piano could be seen as a birdcage.
I just tried playing this by ear on my keyboard without having the song on for reference and it STILL made me tear up, incorrect off tempo notes and all, what a work of art
EVERY SINGLE TIME I WATCH THIS CUTSCENE I CRY MY EYES OUT
Yuni has a tragic past her and her mother used to play for yuni’s father until he passed due to sickness and her mother wanted to protect yuni and the end of her fight is sad.
Guys, I just thought of another thing that made me cry to this....what if...this was played at the dad's funeral. ;;
That would explain why her mother stopped cold when she started playing it.
When you realize her fricken boss battle has this tune in the back, makes you think that even if she has center stage she wants her mom to join
People are saying her dad left her but after seeing that last photo I am sure he passed away which Yinu's theme is very memorable for those who have lost loved ones like myself. It really hits you in the feels
Wait..
If you look closely..
Yinu’s a *golden child* :ooo
I think I know why Yinu joined nsr because of classical music,
His father got a disease / other cases, in hospital, and the father died/still in hospital, so they joined nsr to get the fame and money to save her dad, but Yinu didn't want fame, she just wanted to be together with her family.
This is probably the song that her dad taught her before he passed away.
I love this version, it brings out a sad and happy tune. Like you visit your grandparents grave and feel sad, but you also remember all the happy times too, and it brings those sad happy tears out. Like rain on a sunny day.
If you got the collection pictures, it breaks your heart even more 💔
This caught me so off guard and made me wonder... are we the baddies?
1:31 woah guys, I just realized; yinu's mom never always looked like what she currently is. If you look at the photo frame, you see a woman who has the same heart mark as Yinu's mom! This could of been her before she turned red.
Maybe when her husband got sick, her anger and grief started to physically manifest and altered her form permanently.
Or it's a condition like Eve's, since we know that either eve's split coloration formed over time, or it was already present, but she was just covering it up.
Idk, but it has to be her! It's just too odd for coincidence.
This is great for having on repeat while studying.
Realmente esa escena tiene mucho simbolismo y justo me entró una basurita al ojo :'(
llorar?, no bro
estoy sudando por los ojos....
Everyone else: BBJ are the real villains for breaking Yinu’s piano.
Me: It fell all those stories... and only broke in two. Lengthwise. With enough pristine hammers that Yinu and her mother could play this afterward. Seems like a pretty sturdy piano to me.
I’m guessing that Yinu’s father died from some sort of cancer. which is why he ended up in the hospital as seen from the second picture
I love this piece of music because it captures a melancholic yet uplifting theme, so beautiful
How to make someone cry:
This
The entire game of spiritfarer
Y e s
Both this and EVERYTHING of spiritfarer
I think the piano keeps her mom from getting angry and she is overprotective of yinu so she won’t get hurt anymore yinu’s mom just wants the best for yinu.
1:58 did anyone not realize the dad looked sick this time and had something attached to his hand ..? Hmm idk it’s just a thought
Now I start to imagine What If Yinu and her Mother plays Sadness and Sorrow
I felt sad today, and then I heard this song play in my head. :,(
I always wondered what happened to him.. I can now relate to Yinu's situation..
So we just gon pretend we all didn’t cry when watching this cutscene?
I don’t know how that guy had a kid with a tree but they’re killing it on the piano.
This pulls at my heartstrings so hard
As I saw the cutscene I just quietly said to myself "Are we the baddies?"
Worse, we didn't know that we became the bad guys.
Right into my sad video game music playlist.
It’s always the characters that play the piano..

0:30 and onward is my favorite part.
I wonder if yinu's father taught her that melody because they seem to be quite attached to it
This game tought me one thing.
Zukes brother
Tatiana past
Eves past
Yinus past
Even sayus creation
I'm not crying, my eyes are just sweaty.
Why dose this song make me so sad.
Oh shit!
Are you able to get the "Finale" part of Yinu's battle when they're running towards her?

Mayday, you are just too cruel.
She didn't know about the dead father. And besides, when Yinu started playing this, BBJ had the good sense to shut up and leave.
No she's just too impulsive and doesn't look deep into what she's about to do hence why it always ends in choas
They broke a treasured piano just because they didn’t like her music.
Oh god. What have i done?

I’m not gonna lie. I relate to Yinu because she’s biracial like me.
Good thing all the artists have been around for a while
Imagine if Mayday and Zuke had trashed some musicians very first NSR concert
Well... they were going after Yinu because she snubbed _them_ at _their_ big audition. She was actually the first one to give them an "X".
So without the backstory with her father, revenge seemed like reason enough to go after her.
