Just cuz they never dated doesn’t necessarily mean they didn’t have crushes on each other. They probably didn’t date for lots of reasons. Mainly because it would make it really awkward for the show if they broke up, and because Disney doesn’t like their stars to have romantic relationships with each other. I’m still pretty darn convinced that they both liked each other at some point, but at the VERY LEAST Ross definitely had a crush on Laura.
