I think the E46 has aged so well, such a classy design, had a 320CD & a 325Ci M-Sport, loved them both! You could tell this one was a beauty before it was neglected.
You should be on stage with Penn and Teller, because that scratch repair was the best magic I have ever seen. Outstanding job as always. That car was lucky to have been sorted out by you - looks new.
Probably you've heard that many times but I love the way you are making videos... No nonsense or crappy talk. Christmas tree definitely just before festive times
Absolutely terrible way to treat someone else’s car! Especially someone who’s obviously supported you! Ungrateful, think of your self respect and the children. Car is awesome! Keep it bud Fantastic job! Really happy to watch you turn this one around! I’ve got a 2020 M2 Competition
I pretty much always approve of you BGM during the detail, but I really appreciate the AMSR section. Being autistic, certain sounds can burn me out pretty quick. A handful of seconds with limited sounds is golden. Thank you.
Wow. You normally do a cracking job mate but this one was on another level. Hope the bloke was suitably impressed! As for the Christmas tree - first week of December but in reality, whatever keeps the misses happy!
Great job again, bet the owner was well pleased with this outcome... Also, very nice editing, like the split views and text saying what's going on or being used, and it was nicely paced. Well done to you!
I very much enjoyed your paint correction on that huge scrape! Also...I would never have known that air fresheners could damage interior plastics! Beautiful job!
2 small trees are up and house is decorated! Yes it is early this year but with COVID just wanted the cheer in the house! Usually I start the first or second week in Dec! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
14:36 I don't use an air freshener but my Mrs does. I read the back of the packet the other day: Do not let product touch plastic, glass, carpet, cloth upholstery, leather, metal finished plastics. So basically EVERYTHING IN A CAR! 🤪😆
Love that E46 but I still prefer the E36 myself. Christmas deco goes up the weekend after thanksgiving for us here in the states. Falls on the last weekend of November, just in time for the first advent for my German wife.
As I was growing up , tree went up usually day after Thanksgiving . Now I am married and 10 years past "Over The Hill" wife and I have no kids and rarely put a tree up now . God Bless and have a safe and happy/merry Christmas and New Year !
That scratch repair is amazing, you cant see any sign on camera. And with regards to the Chrismas tree, up on the 12th December, Down 6th of January at the latest.
Iv just bought one this Saturday Iv had over 6 in the past 5 years I started my channel with a M3 too and now Iv bought another one I just can’t get enough of them.. it seems like every time I sell it someone gets one and I’m back to looking for one. I’m lucky to of bought one this weekend and il definitely be keeping it now.
Great work Garry - nice to hear some of the music from the early days. I used to put the tree up second week of December and my kids always complained! So first week probably ok.
Love the vid as usual. But really, an M3 with cheap shitty Landsail tyres?! When I see stuff like that it really makes me worried about proper maintenance.
Another amazing job! As late as possible for putting the Christmas tree 🎄 up! Usually the week before Christmas day for me. It's all too early these days and kids get over excited for too long if the decorations go up early. Traditionally the tree goes up on Christmas eve and is only up for the 12 days of Christmas. Hope you and your family have a great one.
Amazing results, the paint repair is a huge improvement, the damage is almost invisible according to the after shots, I always break out the Christmas tree and decorations in early December❤️
About as ugly as a "civilised" divorce can be. However, this video represents a good amount of evidence in any further proceedings. If only he changed out the chav-spec wheel, shift knob, stereo, diffuser and trim vinyl together with some proper Michelin tires, it'd bring a cool 15k or at least be a better handling and smarter looking ride.
Ever thought about doing a Spotify playlist for your soundtrack. It's not normally the sort of thing I'd go for but some of the tunes are really catchy. Also 23:50 JESUS CHRIST!! THAT'S INCREDIBLE!!!
I would literally commit a crime towards my ex-wife that would incarcerate me for the rest of my life if she refused to give me my M3 and on top of that trashed it
I agree... leave the Christmas tree till last. 12 days of Christmas? We seem to be extending it forever and it creates such expectation, we're all worn out by the time it's over. Great video, masterful scratch work. Cheers 👍🏼
As a kid many years ago living in the Northern Territory of Australia...we left the tree up for three straight years. It became the Christmas Tree, The New Years Tree and the Easter Tree...
Early December for Christmas decorations. You did a masterful job on this BMW. I’m sure the owner was massively happy and relieved. It’s such a personal invasion when you’ve been the victim of crime. This kind of extensive cleaning and love is critically important to healing the psychological wound. May I ask the rinsing aid you would suggest to put through the foam cannon? First time viewer & new sub.
We used to put up the christmas tree on the 23rd of December and take it down five days later. Now that I’m alone I don’t bother to decorate my home at all, and I’ll just have a re-heated pizza for christmas dinner.
Fantastic job there! I try get tree up 12 days before Xmas, otherwise imagine if the song was called ‘55 days of Xmas’ by the time you’ve got to the send of the song, we’ll it’d be a new year 😂
Great job mate but you should have disconnected the battery before unplugging the seats because it normally triggers the airbag light on the dash. Got to say a Stunning 🤩 job overall.
Fantastic job, that scratch repair was amazing. Quick question. I have just bought my daughter her first car which the previous owner had smoked in. It's not horrendous but it needs freshening up. What tips can you give to help someone like me who is not so confident in removing car seats and I don't have an upholstery cleaner either. What can I use that will help, can I clean the seats by hand with something? Thanks.
Rent an ozone machine. Close up the car running, with the A/C running on recirculate to clear out the vents. Run the ozone machine in the car at the same time for 30-45 minutes. Open up the car to air out. DON’T BREATHE IN THE OZONE! That should eliminate odors from all surfaces/fabric.
Exactly what I was just about to type. Thanks Good luck David Williams, smoking smells are amongst the hardest to get rid of and the best things is ozone and then just letting the air in and opening the windows as much as possible afterwards.
Most lingering smells (esp smoke) after a detail are a result of odors trapped in the roof liner. A lot of time usually goes into cleaning carpets. Oddly, most dirt is in the carpet, but few smells. Most odors eminate from the seats, and the roof liner. Be careful cleaning it; aside from being very fragile, it is attached with glue (i.e., do not use steam). The ozone machine is the best tip yet, and will get 95% of the job done.
Not enough 'after' shots of the inside! I felt left hanging lol. Nice to see you doing more cleaning vids again though, great work on this gorgeous BMW, especially on that scratch!
Fine Job. Great car. I had one myself, LHD. I always had to detail the roof compartment (where the roof goes when the top is down); it gets super-gross. I would stop halfway through putting the top up/down and it exposes the compartment. Also, with obvious signs of smoking in the car, I would always clean the inside roof liner. Otherwise, I could never get rid of the stank. I do that now for every convertible (which is all I drive). Also, your touch-up was so good it was freaky (it can't look that good in person). Definitely worth mentioning that results may vary. I did not see you use clear-coat; was that touch-up paint singe-stage? I really loved that E88.
Great vid! Owner : 'she was mint before my ex wife got her hands on it ' Also the owner : 'only the best Landsail Chinesium ditchfinders on my precious car please!'
also avoid those diffusers with liquid air freshers that clip on the air vents. have done a few cars that have those and leaked... melts everything that it leaked on, worst was on a head unit
Great job on scratch, you tried touching up with tooth pick gets inside scratch then just miss second sanding stage out and straight to buff works for me.

How long did this job take? 5 days? And also what is the value of the car before and after the work done? Thanks
Tonight hurry up
That key scratch repair is really good! Well done mate, you should be proud of that!
Not that hard.
Fill it with paint, level it with sand paper, and polish it
@@dan_6915 don't downplay it dan, the bloke did a great job. It is tricky stuff. Everything is easy until you attempt it.
@@dudoboi Rightly said.
@@dudoboi good man👍🤝
@@Mattys_Channel 🤜🤛
Speaks volumes of anyone who would not only withhold a blokes pride and joy and also let kids trash it.
Good job on the clean up looks great.
Wife should have been made to lick it clean.
Hey, you never know. What would somebody have to do to you to get you to treat their car like that?
I think the E46 has aged so well, such a classy design, had a 320CD & a 325Ci M-Sport, loved them both! You could tell this one was a beauty before it was neglected.
I had a e46 320d m sport what a beauty but arch rust was a headache.
I've still got my 323ci
You should be on stage with Penn and Teller, because that scratch repair was the best magic I have ever seen.
Outstanding job as always. That car was lucky to have been sorted out by you - looks new.
wow the scratch repair was a great job not the easiest thing to do, great to see you back
Like so many others said, that scratch repair was really decent! Massively impressed as I'm sure the owner was.
Fantastic transformation, hope owner does the right thing and bin those ditchfinder landsail tyres!
Incredible work with that key scratch mate.
Probably you've heard that many times but I love the way you are making videos... No nonsense or crappy talk. Christmas tree definitely just before festive times
Thank you 😊

That is brilliant, what a cracking job on that scratch 10 out of 10
Finally!! We missed you mate! Cracking clean!
That scratch repair was amazing……you have many skills and great ability. Nicely done.👍
Wow. You normally do a cracking job mate but this one was on another level. Hope the bloke was suitably impressed! As for the Christmas tree - first week of December but in reality, whatever keeps the misses happy!
Great work Gary. Very impressive scratch repair. Thank you for sharing.

Fantastic as per usual 👍🏼
😊
Amazing turnaround!!!
Love that E46 but I still prefer the E36 myself.

I agree with Amy, get that tree up! Another fantastic job big well done on that scratch!!

Wish we could see the reactions of the car owners who you've done cleaning for
6:14 I love that effect, looks superb!
Another Awesome VIdeo and the Premium cars always come out so good..
Cracking job on that scratch, great to watch, no flashy chemicals just know how, hard work and elbow grease!
Awesome work on that rear quarter mate, top cleaning job as usual 👌🏻
Thanks 😊
Lovely job, well impressed with the scratch repair.
That scratch repair is amazing, you cant see any sign on camera. And with regards to the Chrismas tree, up on the 12th December, Down 6th of January at the latest.
Great job with this one; outstanding work on that scratch. This is my favourite M3 of all time and these days they are as rare as hens teeth.
Iv just bought one this Saturday Iv had over 6 in the past 5 years I started my channel with a M3 too and now Iv bought another one I just can’t get enough of them.. it seems like every time I sell it someone gets one and I’m back to looking for one. Yeah can put of any buyers if selling the car, wouldn't have those "death gliders" anywhere an M3!
Maybe the owner likes going sideways, or perhaps the owners now ex wife put them on for him......
Hell have no fury
Have you tried Landsail tyres?
I’m so happy when you finally drop a video 😊
The Christmas tree should go up around the 12th of December, and come down on the 30th of December to welcome in the new year.
Really nice video, as usual! Good editing, good choice of music, and I absolutely love your Scottish accent. Greets from Austria :)
Thank you 😊

Perhaps he paid too much attention to the car and pissed her off😂
23:08 - hopefully it looks a bit better
Proceeds to make the scratch completely unnoticeable

well done, lots of love an passion put into it!

Gary, absolutely fantastic job. The scratch repair is brilliant.
Important question though, where is Moose?!?!
12 days before and 12 days after or bad luck will fall was what I was told as a kid !!
scratch repair was a job to be proud of...
Another fantastic video. Wish I got my car sorted by you when I still lived in Scotland.
Landsail tyres on an M3!! No wonder the wife left him
Woah. Great job. I have the exact same car in the exact same colour. I just wish you were closer to me, back up the road in Glasgow. Brilliant job.
The look you gave waiting for the seat to finish sliding forward. I feel your pain lol.
We used to put up the christmas tree on the 23rd of December and take it down five days later.

Top notch content as always and 10/10 for scratch repair. Can't wait to see more quality videos 👏👏👏👏👏
Really enjoyed this vlog, ty....just a ?,when taking out seats for you have to disconnect the battery?
Tremendous video and car. I just picked up an e46 330 vert, going to copy this wash, thanks mate!
Definitely First weekend in December for the Christmas Tree.
Definitely no tree up before December!! First weekend in December is the earliest they should be up!!!!
Great video I have a coupe as second car. In my opinion best looking car BMW ever built.
Fantastic job, that scratch repair was amazing.

you are a mercy worker BMW m3 looks lovely keep up the good work love the blogs

What drying aid and dilution ratio do you use when you put it in a snow foam Lance?
1 product to 15 water in the bottle and it’ll water down even more coming through the hose
That woman wouldn't be alive anymore if she was my wife
You are a magician , that scratch repair was really good well done
Great job on the scratch Gary, the bmw came out great 👍👍
Great job on scratch, you tried touching up with tooth pick gets inside scratch then just miss second sanding stage out and straight to buff works for me.
One of your best my man brought that one back from the brink 👊
Best detail videos on TH-cam, keep them coming. Where was Moose this video, miss him.
Great video. Enjoyed the scratch repair. Very good.
Fantastic video. I didnt expect that scratch to come out that good thought it would have been more noticeable out in day light
Thanks for the video! Is the hot water pressure washer a new addition? Never noticed steam before until you were spraying the engine bay.
