- RFPA MOURNS THE LOSS OF MUSIC MAESTRO USTAD RASHID KHAN
World renowned Classical singer, Ustaad Rashid Khan, passed away earlier this week.
The RFPA team extends its heartfelt condolences to Ustaadji’s family and his innumerable followers in the world of music.
Rithwik Foundation had a wonderful association with Ustaadji. We will miss him dearly.
May his soul rest in peace.

The world of hindustani classical music has lost one of its most precious jewels in the untimely demise of this iconic artist Ustad Rashid Khan Sahab who enthralled audiences all over the world with his melifluous voice and command over the Taranas. I still can’t believe Rashid Khan left us. Every night before before going to sleep I had to listen to his music because it’s better than sleeping medicine. Now Armaan will keep his father gharana and bring the joy for us. Let God be with him at all times. God bless ustad Rashid khan soul 🙏🙏
