- In this week's video I am going to try to find my anti-art style! This is a drawing challenge where I try to draw in a way that is opposite of how I usually draw. I am creating these sketches and illustrations in Clip Studio Paint. We are going to be experimenting with character design, shapes, line art, proportions, and colors all to make a new style.

The anti-style looks like something that would be use to convey a story with a dark message, or something in horror.
Its almost coraline-ish with the proportions and the way their clothing hangs, i really like it

I really dig the style you've created through this video, it's like a 2000s kind of comic style. The emo vibe is on the spot near the end, Doris is in such a mood and it's like a character introduction panel. I'd be interested to see your ideas with the style!

No your grammar is fine people still understand, you just like forgot 1 or 2 words that don't really matter which makes the sentence your writing still make sense so yesh

@@akiharu_6150 Just two words wrong, 1) “Your” anti-art style and 2) when you talk about multiple objects, you never use “is”, you use “are” instead.

This art style seems a lot more livelier compared to your actual art style. Your actual art style feels somewhat stiff but other than that, I like both of your art styles they look cute

Your anti-style would look so cool on clothing as a print. Maybe if you used darker colours with a super saturated or bright one it could make for a very cool look, like something you’d see in alt fashion.

Your anti-style is very professional like those types of cartoon comics. Maybe sometimes you can try this on "Drawing OC/Gacha characters". Sometimes I notice that people draw short extra panel clips at the end of many comic chapters just for fun. I think you can do this too if you want to.
By the way, I love every style of drawing you make. Especially the way you explain how each of your drawings is done.
I would love to see you do the opposite of this challenge. SUPER BRIGHT COLORS, SUPER CUTE, SUPER FLUFFY HAIR, BRIGHT BRIGHT SHINYY EYES.

Personally, I like both styles. But I would LOVE to draw in this "anti-style." I'm still learning to draw, so I'll figure out my style someday. Doesn't mean I can't wish I could draw like this.

My jaw actually dropped when I saw the style because it's my style! Or super similar to mine, it made me feel happy :)
I quite enjoy that style, of course I wouldn't expect you to change your normal one but this could be part of your arsenal of styles, like how you draw your chibi elf style occasionally this could be one of those, heck I would like to see it again sometime but nothing could replace that OG L2DM style ^_^ oh and cool name for this style could be just called your "Toon Style" or "Edgy Toon" style cuz it gives me cartoon and toon link vibes

In my opinion I like the simplicity of the anti style 😊 It reminds me of alt art I’ve occasionally seen on TikTok. Btw, I thought maybe you could try drawing yourself in to vocaloid 2D music videos? A few of my favourites vocaloid songs with 2D music videos are Traffic Jam, Heaven Dope Tricologe, Yomi (all by nilfruits), Junky Nightown Orchestra, Gunjo Sanka, Ohedo Julia Night and Rolling Girl though a lot of them focus more on the vocaloids/main character(s) of the music video only so I don’t know how easy it would be because of that 😅
The general body proportions of this style remind me of my own artstyle .

Also the lengthy but big hands, feet, and head reminds me of another artist who has a style similar to this but is more pop I guess and not dull and more cheery.
Edit: Looking back on it, it somewhat reminds me of panty and stocking I don't know too much about it but it'll work with your description if its just has dull colors

This is “anti-style” feels like a mix of items from the late 1990s-early 2010s.
The character frame reminds me of something from TDI, while the coloring makes me think a little from shows like Code Lyoko and Detentionaire.
Though for the “anti-style” I sort of thought it’d be way more dark and edgy, but guessing going so far would be way too scary.
I think this style is better for you. Wanna see more in next videos. Love it.
