- It's getting frosty outside and work has to be done. AJ loads up his shopping cart with Pure Polaris accessories and equips the mighty Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 S with all the necessary gear to make light work out of any winter storm.

I want that quad to go with my Outty 1000 xmr . That plow mount is awesome! Just clicks on an done! Can-am u have to bolt the mount on. Polaris really nailed it on this one.
when my wife asks me why I need a quad I’ll show her this, “it plows snow, so ya! of course it’s practical and a good investment” !!
Ha that's my angle too. Just moved to a new house with a long driveway, so hopefully she's on board after the first snow and she can't get out of the driveway!!
Very nice looking machine. Polaris Sportsman's with engine braking can be a handful on certain types of slippery trails because of the way their AWD system works. Polaris machines only send power to drive wheels 95% of the time, just like an AWD car. If you're riding on a hard-pack snow trail and let off the throttle to slow down the engine braking will lock the rear wheels and can cause you to spin out. They need to adjust their decent control to work at all speeds to fix that. It can be quite dangerous especially when you're not expecting it. I live in Canada and ride in the winter. I've had it happen and I've seen it happen to other people. Studding the tires helps a bit.
EastCoastATV I have never had that issue, when I ride in the snow I’m easy on and off the throttle because lift off oversteer is deadly, so I never notice that, but in the winter usually my quad is just used for feeding cows

Awesome set up! All of that would fit on my Sportsman 850SP, but the snow plow would be worthless for me now that we don't get snow anymore :-( I cant believe I live in Michigan and don't get snow, 56 degrees on Christmas day :-(

I’m putting those shocks on my 850 high lifter the stock ones that come on it are junk not much suspension travel
You are able to mount a rear rack extension with the Polaris lock n ride storage box
Great looking quad but at 55 inches wide it wont fit into any of my sheds which are 48 and half inches wide

@@mudpuppy318 lol I just like the overall set up of these 55 inch wide 14 inch suspension travel ATVs, they will do so much better on the trails where I live. Only thing I hate is that price tag, I really think it's a 10k machine not 14k

i do gruntwork in a warehouse and i was able to get a 2020 outlander 1000 6x6 loaded with options. its not about being rich. its about money management
I have a 2019 sportsman X PD 1000 premium will be a good idea if a guy like you and your channel can get a cover to enclose the cab a cab enclosure you know how nice that would be that company Polaris should make a portable piece to put on in the winter to keep the wind out and the snow out too much gear you have to wear like a helmet and other stuff to add weight to you and uncomfortable they should make A portable cab that would be great keep me informed I buy one by the way
Is a 60" plow wide enough for thisachine when angled? I would think it would need at least a 66"
That light bar is useless for plowing., way to low.,.
For sure. You can see the light is clogged with snow after a few passes, and all you'll see is the shadow of the plow in front of you.
@@MuhaloTube Actually you won't even see the shadow of the plow. When you are actually moving all you will see is the illuminated white snow the plow is throwing in front of you!

They should make that box go on without taking those side brackets off from the factory that’s stupid I had that box I got rid of it because I like the look of those brackets comfort a factory they should make the box go between those brackets tell Polaris

It is obvious there is gonna be tons of snow-spray infront of it not to mention it will get completly blocked when plow is raised...

eh.. if you want a quad youre gonna get a quad...plow only costs a few hundred dollars and to those who can use it..its worth ten times that on your back and time spent outside
I keep my Can Am outlander 1000 limited stock even the tires. Bolting on a bunch of just parts will not improve it. No plow ever on my ATV i use a Honda HSS1332 snowblower. No way I am wearing my my atv to push stupid snow.
