Peace and Blessings everyone. Fantastic discussion regarding the meaning of A'yat. I might have to re-watch as I didn't get all of it. Allah teaches us how to approach the Quran in the best way possible, and this is just one verse, out of probably several, [20:114] "Most Exalted is God, the only true King. Do not rush into the Quran before it is completed, and say 'My Lord, increase my knowledge.' There's a reason for it, and this is just my personal opinion, but we as humans have a tendency to try and rush through a lot in life. How can we hope to understand and ponder the Quran if we rush through it. Peace.

Dr. Omar, First of all, May Allah bless you and everyone in this video discussion as I slowly recovering from the corrupted Islam that I hv been following ever since I was trained from my childhood, which is with full of errors and with only one exception, which is the knowledge that Allah is our creator. I am now making salah (connection) as I feel is ok for me. Meaning, two rakats to all 5 salahs and knowing that Luhar and asr prayers are thasbeeh salahs… and knowing that there are only 3 salahs Allah wants us to do…to connect with him. Still, I do not know what we have already been taught as salah and its physical movements and actions are right or wrong… I am trying to keep it less ritual & less mechanical. I am into more towards the meditation style talking to Allah about my problems… The main reason for these changes I made in my life is actually to know the true Islam that the Prophet (sal ) was practising during his lifetime and through which I want seek Allah’s protection against hidden shirk and kufr. I am slowly removing many things that makes the Rasool the partner of Allah during salahs and duas… by not uttering salawath to the Rasool ( which is kept as an element for intercession, the shirk) to keep myself away from the Shirk. I dont know if i am doing the right thing. But, i am sure that Allah will guide me in the right path someday…. InshaAllah We, Muslims, all over the world are in a huge crisis not knowing what the truth is due to the corruption that happened from the times of Muawiya and from the aftermath of Umayyad Rule that changed everything that was original. I am now 55 yrs old, and I hv to find the right path pretty fast….. before my death that may happen someday…. Salam brother, you said you don't know that you are doing right or not, first you have to trust Allah once you already trust it on Him then leave it on Allah, but Allah also says we all need to use our "Common Sence " so use it. I need to ask you one question in the beginning you mentioned that you only make Two Rakats, how do you do that, do you have any instruction in the Quran, are you Face it towards the Ka'baa ? Did Allah ask us to face towards the Kaaba before Salah? And very big question does Ka'baa was there before or during the time of Rasool Allah?
@@aqilhms Thank you brother for your comment made on my explaining my position with regards to the understanding of Allah’s Qur’an and its instructions as explained by the well researched experts like Dr. Omar Ramahi. HAMID A Mian, what a marvelous explanation of ayah.. and.. it really UPGRADE my ayah in MY MIND. i still believe that it may refer (nasakh mansukh) to the prophet that received ayat before (not mentioned in the Quran - cause God tells us there are messengers before He did not mention). But certainly how Hamid A Mian explain about nasakh mansukh is an UPGRADE. Wallahi, May Allah reward him. SubhanaAllah.
Salamun Alaikum brothers, Alhamdulillah I was looking for a broad discussion on A'yat. Few days back I had a discussion with some muslims about stone with footstep of Ibrahim(AS)(Makame Ibrahim) and they said verse (2:125) as proof of this stone. I couldn't believe this and still I don't believe that stone. Alhamdulillah, I am 100% agree with your opinion Dr. Omar. BTW, the opinion of brother Hamid regarding Nask is harmony with Dr. Hany's opinion. May Allah bless you all brothers.

Yes and they created partition for what? People lost their family connections their communities and families and land and homes For nothing, Pakistani are thieves and used Islam as a front to take off people exactly what the Mughals did
Dear Omar , what I understood from the book : Muhkem ayats are manifest signs that belong to " sehadet" realm. ( obvious to the eye and mind , things we can experience ) The mutesabih ayats are signs explained by similarities by God . Mutesabih ayats belongs to "Gayb" and Only god knows their "tevil" . Tevil to me means manifestation not interpretation or explanation. Gayb is only known by God and He can only explain "gayb" to us by similarities to what we can see , experience ( realm of sehadet) Food for thought : how would you descrbe snow to somebody who has never seen snow. You would use similarities of what he can experience and try to explain to that person by using similarity he can comprehend. I would love to prepare a presentation and send it to you if you are interested.
Muhkam ayaats are ayaat of Commandments. Im not sure what you mean by sehadet or is it shahadah?. I only understand muhkams are ayaats of LAWS and PRESCRIPTION. for an example, when God said in the Quran, KUTIBA ALAIKUM al-Qisaas fi Al-Qatla. This is one of the muhkam ayaats. Not mutashabihah. Mutashabihaah is allegorical, like when Allah starts to coin similtude, DARAB, MATHALA.. that are the allegorical ayah. All the stories of prophets are also allegorical, it is real but it is as and EXAMPLE for us. that is what i understand by muhkam and mutashaabihaat ayat. The word tashaabahah is used in AlBaqarah Q2:25. the translation is "similar". it is similar to them the food in the Jannah (but not exactly the same) so its A SIMILITUDE, A COMPARISON, a stories of people before could also mean a similar situation. One useful aspect of history is to learn from them. When God mentioned about BANI ISRAEL and their treacherous behaviour, its not for US TO CONDEMN their action, they did it, they will pay for it. so WhAT is the actually the lesson????? .. SO THAT WE DONT REPEAT IT!! but look around you.. we are repeating what Bani Israel (not current bani Israel), have done. WE are the people of the BOOK now. WE DO NOT fullfill our COMMANDMENT or COVENANT with GOD. Did we say "WE HEAR and WE OBEY"??? yes we did.. so that mean we have already entered to a contract with GOD. It is clearly stated that GOD took our COVENANT in Q5:7
Salam Dr Ramahi, Very fundamental topic in which the word ayat in the Quran refers to sign in the universe and nothing to do with Quran verses. It is a simple concept, however we still got confused when we try to apply this concept when we look at the versus. Kindly, here if you can write your translation to English the Quran verse 3:7 which it was discussed a lot in this video. It would be easy for us to grasp if you can write down here your translation to English verse 3:7. Thank you in advance Salam
Salamun Alaikum, Excellent discussion and thank you Dr Omar for the insights. We would like to hear more from you. We are benefitted from your discussion and thank you for that Can I request you one thing, if you don't mind, we would be happy to see you with Dr Hany from Marvelous Quran channel. Both of you carry similar message, thoughts and insights. I believe you both can discuss the topics and share us new insights. Jazakallah Dr Omar
Dr Hany, I have seen his videos, don't get me wrong he is ok but very doubtful, he goes beyond which make no sense at all. I am not discouraging you but please be careful, I already stop watching his videos.
Fantastic observation...Dr Omar I would like to also know if you have observed two ways the word Ayat is used in Quranic Arabi. Do you see any difference in them. And also I feel the group is not focusing what you are trying to expose, and that is Ayat is not the words/verse of the Book and they still have preoccupied mind that they are relating muhkamat and mutashabihaat with verses of the Book. But what you are trying to point is something which nullifies this discussion. But still I would like to know if Ayat is physical manifestation of Allah's sign which can be tangible or non tangible then what is muhkamaat and mutashabihaat in that manifestation? About mutashabihaat you mentioned that in those signs there are some things which only Allah knows(but it never meant that for all timeline it will be unknown to mankind). But still muhkamaat manifestation is bit unclear to me if you can put your idea. Also I would like to bring your attention about the word Al Kitab that also I dont see somehow is referring to the Book or in your words 'mushaf'. This Al Kitab is also something else as Quran 2:2 says zaalikal kitab (that Al kitab) which gives direction that Al Kitaab is far in time and space and in that are ayaats or signs. I believe the Al Kitab is the master book which Allah has kept as he mentiones in Lauh e mahfooz and the mushaf what we have is a part of it and other physical science and universal laws which are either discovered already or to be found in future are also part of the same Al Kitab. And somehow I feel we should not have just stopped with Al Quran as the final book of Allah but it should have been kept updated with all proven universal laws be it biological science medical science astronomy or any study for that sake after it gets proven and being utilized for the welfare of mankind. In Surah 10: 37 somehow it differentiates Al Quran with Al Kitab and I feel Quran is the a tool which has to be used with specific configuration to reach to Al Kitab which is hidden sublayers of the mushaf, Would like to know what you think about this understanding of mine.
One of Satan's tricks is to claim that there are _"hidden sublayers of the mushaf"_ If you were to understand the Quran you'd realize this!!! Didn't Allah say that the Quran is _"fully detailed?"_ Didn't Allah say that the Quran is *clear?* Didn't Allah say that there is *no crookedness* in the Quran? Didn't Allah say that the Quran is EASY? Didn't Allah say that therein the Quran is NO DOUBT? Everything is written clearly in the Quran... but this NONSENSE about _"hidden sublayers"_ is pure invention through dubious re-interpretation & re-translation by men with promptings from Satan, of course. Please provide CLEAR evidence that there is such a thing as _"hidden sublayers?"_ Now... use your AQAL and THINK! Salam.
@@shukriyusof2104 I know where you are pointing to, but have you raised this question to that channel which propagates concealment in Quran and talks about layered meanings they have taken samawaat as basis for this concept by proving samawaat mentioned in Quran does not match with spellings used for sky in Arabic. I would be interested to know if you have got any response over this.
@@FA069 ... _"have you raised this question...?"_ WHY? But seriously... if you still cannot see through his _wannabe scholar_ facade... then may Allah guide you to the right path. How is your command of the English language? Look up the dictionary and understand how it defines *knowledge.* Now... what on earth is _"evidence based knowledge"_ suposed to mean? If I invented a lie, a fiction or a fairy tale, do I need any evidence to support my claim? No....I do not! On the other hand, if I tell you the sun sets in the west and the evidence is there for all to see. Now... that is knowledge. Saying _"evidence based knowledge"_ is akin to saying, _say it again one more time while repeating it all over again?_ Anyway... go study to understand the Quran and you will be guided. salam.
Salam Dr Ramahi, When you say ayat (signs) is not also verse in Quran, if you can explain verse 27:1 “TaSeen Tilka Ayatu Al Quran wa Kitabin Mubeen”. Here clearly said Tilka Ayatu Al Quran”

؟ استاذ
you raised an excellent question
In Surah 10: 37 somehow it differentiates Al Quran with Al Kitab and I feel Quran is the a tool which has to be used with specific configuration to reach to Al Kitab which is hidden sublayers of the mushaf,
Would like to know what you think about this understanding of mine.
One of Satan's tricks is to claim that there are _"hidden sublayers of the mushaf"_
If you were to understand the Quran you'd realize this!!!
Didn't Allah say that the Quran is _"fully detailed?"_
Didn't Allah say that the Quran is *clear?*
Didn't Allah say that there is *no crookedness* in the Quran?
Didn't Allah say that the Quran is EASY?
Didn't Allah say that therein the Quran is NO DOUBT?
Everything is written clearly in the Quran... but this NONSENSE about _"hidden sublayers"_ is pure invention through dubious re-interpretation & re-translation by men with promptings from Satan, of course.
Please provide CLEAR evidence that there is such a thing as _"hidden sublayers?"_
Now... use your AQAL and THINK!
@@FA069 ... _"have you raised this question...?"_
WHY?
But seriously... if you still cannot see through his _wannabe scholar_ facade... then may Allah guide you to the right path.
How is your command of the English language?
Look up the dictionary and understand how it defines *knowledge.*
Now... what on earth is _"evidence based knowledge"_ suposed to mean?
If I invented a lie, a fiction or a fairy tale, do I need any evidence to support my claim?
No....I do not!
On the other hand, if I tell you the sun sets in the west and the evidence is there for all to see. Now... that is knowledge.
Saying _"evidence based knowledge"_ is akin to saying, _say it again one more time while repeating it all over again?_
Anyway... go study to understand the Quran and you will be guided.
salam.
Salam Dr Ramahi,
When you say ayat (signs) is not also verse in Quran, if you can explain verse 27:1 “TaSeen Tilka Ayatu Al Quran wa Kitabin Mubeen”. Here clearly said Tilka Ayatu Al Quran”

We are subjected to varied levels of covering up of the TRUTH ( AS IN THE HOLY QURAN).. we seek protection from the DHAALLEEN' S ( Surah Al Fathiha)... but increasingly we become subjected to SUBLIMAL Seduction of this deception ( from every known sector and increasingly from within the muslim community).
All I can state is BEWARE!!
THE TRUTH IS COVERED UP!!

We basically talk about random subjects, for hours, and try to find the best response according to the Quran alone.

@@seifdeiab8995 Salam Brother. I am at work unfortunately.
about the Plural WE.. in Q2:21 it is mentioned as HE, the one ("alladzi" not "Alladzi na"). So the one who created us and the people before us, "Alladzi" means HE is ONE. so it is so confusing. in one ayah, The mesenger said.. it is HE.. but god said..it is WE? please explain.
not sure I understand your question

- Quran 45:6
Is it such a strange conclusion that Allah swt refers to the verses of the mushaf as Ayaat? This is such a common understanding that the proof of your claim has to be enormous.
Maybe not all verses are ayaat or ayaat are combination of verses like the gens of our dna, but saying something different than "the Quran consists of ayaat" feels so wrong.
Excuse me brother
