I will have been married 35 years in October. We were married in the Glenview, IL temple. 4 kids later and it had been a crazy ride. Most days I'd do it all again. 😉

I also got married on April 26, but in 1975. It was also my husbands 19th birthday. We were young and in love. Tragically, in 1981, he was killed in a double fatality accident while driving on his job.. Our daughter was 2 1/2 years old, and we had been married for just 6 1/2 years. It certainly has been like riding a roller coaster. Even though I was fairly mature, raising a child on my own as a single parent was never in the picture.. 48 years year later I have my daughter and her husband (married for 20 years, known each other for 27 years) my beautiful twin b/g grandchildren (graduating in May, yikes) living within 10 minutes of me. Life does on , I love hearing about others people's journey of their love story. Happy Anniversary ❤

Happy, happy Anniversary! Congratulations Mark! My husband and I just celebrated 34 years of marriage in March. My husband bought my engagement ring one day after our first date because he said he had no doubt I was the one. We got engaged 3 months later then had friends and family telling us it was all happening too fast and we wouldn't last. Guess we showed them! Our daughter is getting married a week from today! I'm so excited!

Hello, my husband and I have been married 33 yrs this yr and together 37. He is my high school sweetheart. My husband asked me marry him while I was in emergency after i hurt my back. I will never forget it and we laugh at it(great sense of timing). My wedding ring and my moms also didn’t fit after having children (also my favorite shoes☹). Been married 48 years in June. Our first date: I was 14 he was 16. He asked me to a Sunday school class banquet. I apparently was too shy, so he didn’t ask me out for two years. 😊 We we’re married right after I graduated high school. (Way too young) lived in our home town our whole lives.

I was married to my first husband 38 years, he passed away at age 52. Yes, we married very young. But we made it through happy, sad, hard and tragic times. We lost two of our children at ages 23 and 26. We were told we would never last. Lol, tell that to a West Virginia girl, we will do something three times and take pictures to prove we can. My baby boy gained his Angel wings in November. I was then alone in life for the first time ever.. I missed having a companion and being alone was hard for me.
I met my new fella in 2013 and here we are in 2022 and still here. When you meet some one when you are "older" it is definitely different. Lol or it was for me. I have my way of doing things and I am not good at asking or accepting assistance. I am very OCD and I don't sit still, I can think of ten million things to do rather than sit still or watch a movie. My fella is a musician and he plays or listens to different genres of music all day long. I would rather work in the yard or plant flowers or veggies. Differences makes life interesting.
