I lived in a small town where it is not uncommon for the power go after bad storms. Fortunately, power is back after an hour or so. However there may be a time when power is gone much longer. I'm a senior and disabled so being without power is worrisome. Having solar power connected to my home is confusing. This vlog has provided much needed information about Lion Energy. I've checked out their website and will contact them soon. Thank you!

Red Poppy Ranch also uses this system... he tried at least two before he moved to this system. From what I have seen, this is the premier Solar System on the market today. Elegant and functional. Good Choice guys!

That looks Super Expensive ! I can’t even imagine! I know one 100 WH battery Lithium is about 8-900$ those have yo be 6x as big each not to mention BMS , Controllers, inverters. wire, fuses, panels, I’m guessing 40,000$ Most people could never afford that system, farming must be good lately!

With as much wind as you're getting there in the open space, you might want to consider, for the future, installing one windmill to supplement for those days that you get more wind than solar so that you'll have a backup power source. Just a thought, if you haven't already considered it.
Providing power for one's home (if off-grid) should be a multifaceted - solar, wind and hydro - geothermal as well for heat. They have quite a few streams on the property - at the top of their private road, there's that pretty good sized stream (past videos show them driving over the bridge up there with the Mule - th-cam.com/video/nfiZTmkGclw/w-d-xo.html ). A small hydro plant there with an inverter to convert the DC to AC (AC travels farther on smaller gauge wire) plus your windmill asthey appear to have plenty of wind in their house clearing. That would set the Lumnahs up nicely for electrical power. Geothermal would work nicely for the greenhouse and keeping the animals a tad warmer...
wow! i would like to say "a long time coming" but all of what has happened, is less than a year old! i remember the episode "we bought 500 acres", then the explore, the lumbering, the cabin build, the tool house potty building, septic, well, creek dam, seeding, house build. all in a year! you two are amazing! It was good to see Olivia at the house, i had wondered if she had been on property during any of this. You have been and are, a testament to hard work, having a dream and making it real. I am proud of you, of your courage, your planning, tenacity, and family values. And I am really , really, thankful that you allowed us to look over your shoulders,, I know that setting cameras, planning shots, endless editing is beyond a pain in the tukus. A strand of lights went out in my Christmas tree, it was a two day project to trace it... Al hooks up all the cables to an enormous power system in less time. All is my hero.

wow! i would like to say "a long time coming" but all of what has happened, is less than a year old! i remember the episode "we bought 500 acres", then the explore, the lumbering, the cabin build, the tool house potty building, septic, well, creek dam, seeding, house build. all in a year! you two are amazing!

A strand of lights went out in my Christmas tree, it was a two day project to trace it... Al hooks up all the cables to an enormous power system in less time. All is my hero.
