Carbon steel are costly than cast iron pans.Both are best for healthy cooking.But while taking carbon steel pans consider a good brand to buy.Both are made of natural material.But it differs in durability.Cast iron pans are more durable than carbon steel where as carbon steel are more comfort in using.Light in weight and easy to clean.That’s the only main difference. Yes after every use,heat the cookware and apply the oil with a cloth or a brush.
