Your gift of playing goes without saying, and there are/have been countless virtuosos excelling at the guitar. But your gift of teaching the craft, in my opinion at least, remains unsurpassable. You have the incredible knack to make one ridiculously confident to take up the lessons. When I stopped playing over fifteen years ago, it was with the belief that I'd hit my ceiling of just strumming and a few finger-picking songs in the bag. I was convinced that no one could make me understand chord theory, that my fretting hand was too lacklustre so I didn't even bother trying. But here you are, like an Oracle, revealing the secrets of mastering the guitar, removing the veil of elitism that seemingly rendered it unattainable to unskilled amateurs like me. Can't decide which is more impressive - your playing or your teaching!
Thanks for telling the truth upfront: pull offs especially is actually a workout! Before i thought knowing scales and runs automatically put you there but like you said it must be a deliberate intention practice to off pull offs to obtain the right sound
Hammer on and pull offs slides are all cool. I love using them but it’s better than way you do then I’m a long time guitarist. I think I will try your technique. Thanks for the video.👍🏼👍🏼😁🎸

Rare combination of tremendous skill coupled with a fantastic teaching ability.
Excellent video, thank you!
Thank you Jared. Just what I needed to see as a beginner trying to tackle the pull-off.

I love short illustrated technique lessons that are concise like this one. Thanks!
Thanks . I've been playing for a life time and never got the pull-offs right. This helps a whole lot.

Best guitar teacher in the world
Not him.... The best teacher would be "Lets Play Guitar" who's rumoured dead....
Very clear tutorial❤
Learnt something new today! Subconsciously I was pulling down very often when playing but lifting off when consciously learning new stuff.
This lesson is a game changer for me
Great lesson on the pull off. Just what I need. I’ve been doing it wrong of course.
Thanks Jared. I've always had trouble with pull-offs. This should help.
Thanks so much.
I subscribed.
Never really focused on the pull off difference.
Better by for to pluck
Very helpful, thanks!

omg this was sooo helpful!!!!!!
Thanks🙏
Great lesson. The teaching pedagogy is fantastic. When will your course be ready?
thanks
Very helpful info on the hammer; don't wind up. BTW, where were you born? You have a slight accent that I hear at the very beginning.
What sort of angle should your hand be to do triple pull off aka Rockabilly style
The palm needs to be parallel with the fretboard/neck for that so you can pluck straight down for the pull offs to get a clean sound
Now how would you pull offa the high e string
So for pull-offs, it's okay if you pulled-off finger hits the string below it (assuming that string is muted)?
Yep, it should!
This is awesome, thank you ❤
