      @AP8140he can't stop her after she's 18. And also that's still too harsh. Like 13-14 is reasonable. 17-18 basically is "never"

    • @loganlund6801
      @loganlund6801 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @AP8140 13 to 14 is not unreasonable. Most girls dating around that age and it really helps them learn skills later in life. It's not unreasonable at all they are a teenager. Obviously they don't have to date but it should be an option. I'm no out of my mind lmao I see 6th graders dating all the time. Which I think is a bit wild but I can't speak for other people. 13-14 is acceptable, they are old enough to understand how a relationship works and if there are boundaries then it's fine. schoolwork is barely and issue lmao

    • @loganlund6801
      @loganlund6801 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @AP8140 nah I'm in school now. And it's not a huge issue. But some of that makes sense. I think they can if they have time for it. But Im not just going to say no jus bc they are 13 or 14

    • @loganlund6801
      @loganlund6801 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @AP8140 I can agree with It's easier to focus and is part of the reason why I'm not really looking rn. But my opinions are changing. But saying that they won't hold a relationship for longer than 2 weeks isn't necessarily the case. I know tons of people my age and younger that can hold relationships for months and they can't drive either they just see each other on the weekends and hang out in school. Like my best friend he held a relationship for like 6 to 7 months at 14. But fun story Mario kart a dub fr 😂

    I have to say probably 14 years old, not mattering what gender, and I have to know them.
    2. Sleepover at a friend's house?
    probably 6 years old, if I am *friends* with their parents. I just need to know their parents after being like 10 years old.
    3. Social Media
    I would allow my kids to be on TH-cam *kids* at 6 years to 10 years old. I will allow them to get on TH-cam once they hit 11. (screen time limited and monitored)
    4. Staying home alone
    I will allow my child to stay home alone for and hour or more if they are comfortable with it, at the age of 13, making sure they have the device to call me right by them.
    5. Watching rated R movies.
    This depends on whether they are sensitive to scary movies. I would let them watch Rated R movies at the age of 14.
    6. Cursing
    0 - 10 No.
    10 - 13 Only the H word.
    14 - 16 Only to music.
    16+ Alright, just not in my house.
    7. Drink caffeine
    I mean, I'll let them try it when they're younger, but I doubt they'll like it. I guess I'll let them drink caffeine at like 12 - 13. (like starbucks)

      Staying home alone? Why is that even a question of course they’ll shouldn’t be literally guarded by some golem at home
      But men are physically stronger and safer alone outside than 99% of women and i do trust my 17 or 16 year old son to be safer at night than my daughter at that age
      Even sleepovers i would be a lot more careful.
      Regardless of how safe the neighborhood is
      I personally would choose to be stricter to my daughter than to my son simply because factually speaking girls are way more vulnerable than men in that regard
      And i do not take chances on having my daughter end up being abused, raped or whatever because i was too careless.

    Him: I would let my son date whenever he can afford it.
    Also him: my daughter can never date!
    Oh and another one is…
    Him: I would let my son stay home a 12.
    Again! Also him!: I would let my daughter stay home when she’s 16.
    It annoys me when people say stuff like this. Girls are generally more mature than guys so it’s like we should have equal rights, even for small things like dating and staying home alone.

      It was a joke when he said never, also as a men myself I would never let my daughter date beofre she graduates highschool and I would let my son date when he’s like 16 or something because I would obviously be more protective over my daughter than my son for obvious reasons. Staying home alone is the same for both tbh but it depends.

    I am a young lady (21 years) in South Africa. It seems like you will be a great father in the future. Don't worry about what others say.
