You ain't lying!😂😂😂 Preciate you!
Gotta make a video about how to connect with the shippers?
Great information
I’m starting up out of Chattanooga Tn, looking for a truck to buy now.
Thx big D for that advice . New Authority Ohio here.......how would i find direct shippers? By asking when i pickup from companies from my home base? Thx.
Tiereney
Hey man I’m out of Piedmont, Sc and about to start my own box truck business and seeing you being successful here in Sc with loads def gives me hope that I can be successful as well. I am a little nervous cause I got 3 boys an a wife to support so I’m really hoping this works out. About to quit my job in the next month or so to go full time. Any advice you have? My biggest worry is new authority, but I also have a class a cdl with hazmat an tanker.
I would recommend having a solid plan before quitting your job. We all kept our full time jobs until we paid off our first truck. Having low overhead is key. I would say have at least 10k saved for maintenance and bad weeks. Having a new authority is tough but we were able to use Amazon to combat that challenge before they required 6 months active authority. You of course will be able to get higher paying loads with your endorsements but rates all around are low right now.
I live in West Columbia
where do you find direct shippers?
Did you have to pay for your Amazon acct in order to transport for them?
No sounds like somebody is trying to scam you.
What up brother!! Love the channel. So much great information about box trucking. Quick question. What is your thought on signing with a dispatcher for a year?
We appreciate the support! I wouldn't sign a contract for a year. How many trucks do you have? Have you considered dispatching yourself? It's not as hard as you think.
I have just one truck. Just been hard to get good loads to keep my truck busy. The dispatcher I found through a friend says she has government contracts and multiple shippers she deals with. Just don’t know the pros and cons under a year with the same dispatcher.
That doesn't sound too bad. I wonder if the reason for the commitment is because of the contracts. What happens if they stop getting you loads? They don't expect you to give them a percentage of loads they don't book you right?
@alfonso11978 Hey how did this end up working for you? Curious because government contracts sound more stable than anything else.
But how do you find the direct shipper
Go to warehouses and talk to the logistics coordinator and offer your services.
@@TruckinginJs thx for the response
How did you get to a Direct shipper
I'm in NYC do you have any lead on any shipper?
Question: How does one go about identifying shippers?
Look for any businesses with shipping docks, and shoot your shot!

What’s going on man! I’m running out of Elgin/Columbia myself. How do you go about approaching shippers to be a direct carrier?
What's good! We just let them know we are local, what equipment we have and our availability. Make sure you give them your business card.
Devin how do you go about factoring with direct shippers? What factoring company do you use for that? thanks fam
You can't factor with direct shippers to my knowledge. We send them our invoice and usually get paid within 2 weeks.
Bro, which load board do you use ?
DAT load board. But most of our loads come from connections we've built.
So I’m 18 years old and looking into starting a box truck business but not sure if I can do that due to my age. Do you think I can make it happen at 18??
If so, how can I start.
Do you have any info on that mentor located in Georgia
Life Journeys is the channel.
How do I get in contact with direct shippers
Pull up! 😂😂 Then ask to speak with the shipping manager.
@@TruckinginJs thanks
So how exactly does this help us? It's not like those shippers or anywhere near us.
You don't have any shippers near you??????
How do I get in with direct shippers? My authority is in Georgia near Atlanta
Ask to speak with the shipping manager at the warehouses.
Thanks for the transparency of the expenses
Can you provide me with your Dispatcher info
Hey we dispatch ourselves.
Appreciate the video, and information, but BRO... I cant take nothing you said, serious, after you told us you duckin money, because you have to rush home to cook some swine and celebrate White Americas independence from Britain, while Black folk were still in slavery... Smh
We work hard out here and spending time with family is important to us whenever we can all be off and get together. I feel it was some valuable information in this video if you choose to disregard it that's on you!
Can u hit me up
