I love the lobby, it looks very sophisticated, aren't you glad you waited to redecorate it now? You can decorate the disco any time you like as it is a DLC and not part of the quest line, just make sure you have enough money left to complete the quests. Once you have completed the quests on floor 1 and get sent to floor 2 there will still be undecorated rooms on floor 1, these remaining rooms can now be completed in any order you choose.
TIP: Turn your default game speed down (top left corner) from 2 to 1 using the minus key I believe, + to speed up. I have no idea why they made the default as 2 but it resets every time you load the game and means random events occur more frequently, this can get pretty annoying when trying to renovate a room and you have to stop to deal with an 'event' (btw the chicken game gets 'old' really fast lol)
Items needed for guest's odd requests to alter already decorated rooms are always found under the 'special' category, the requests can be refused with no detrimental effect to your game and I recommend doing this for pretty much all of them like the cowboy who wants bales of hay for his horse placed in your Lobby - sorry for the spoiler but.......)
Finally cobwebs are destroyed using the crowbar...............go figure. Some pretty tough spiders in that hotel!

Wasn't there like a cabinet with keys to put behind the front desk? Also in one of the hotels I worked there was a huge round table under the chandelier with a huge bouquet on top that was changed every day

Ohh ok i didnt realize you were in quest mode. I figured the game just asked you to do stuff but you could just do what you wanted as well. Can you use any of the art from the basement in the lobby or corridors?
You cannot move anything between floors so no, also they have no star rating so do not contribute towards the decorating score.
was planning on it and if you look, i put 3 painting on the far wall, but they went poof lol.
